Please read this proposal in its entirety as some of our policies may have changed. We request that you sign and return our Letter of Confirmation by October 14, 2014 so we have time to plan accordingly. Our itineraries are tailored to YOUR unique needs and desires. Please keep in mind; Flamingo Educational Tours is the only Student Tour Company in South Florida that is a member of SYTA, Student and Youth Travel Association of North America. As a SYTA member we include the following: $200,000.00 SYTA Consumer Protection Plan Liability Insurance Errors and Omissions Insurance Any and All funds you pay to Flamingo Educational Tours is 100% protected. ***Supplemental charges for rooms with less than 4 to a room: Triple Rooms will be an additional $22.00 per participant in those rooms Double Room will be an additional $65.00 per participant in those rooms Single Rooms will be an additional $190.00 for participant in that room All tour prices are correct as quoted at the time the tour is arranged, but are subject to revision if prices should increase beyond the control of Flamingo Educational Tours. CHARTER BUSES: Flamingo Educational Tours will always attempt to provide you with the most economical bus configuration. Whenever possible, we will attempt to minimize empty seats on buses by ordering the appropriate number of seats based on your final numbers. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Flamingo Educational Tours will require a Non-Refundable deposit in the amount of $150.00 per paying participant is due by January 15, 2014. ROOM LIST: Due 35 days prior to your departure date. Once we receive your room list, a final invoice will be issued and sent to the school. BALANCE: DUE UPON RECEIPT OF FINAL INVOICE (at least 30 days prior to departure date) CANCELLATION PENALTY: *** Please read carefully as our policy may have changed! *** NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED FROM VERBAL COMMUNICATION. We will request a special meal, but we have no control over how the particular restaurant handles our request. If the special dietary condition is so severe that the student cannot manage, then we suggest that the parent accompany the child on the trip at their expense. SPECIAL NEEDS: If your group requires a wheelchair equipped motor coach, with an automatic lift, we must be notified at the time you return your signed Letter of Confirmation. If an event occurs after the Letter of Confirmation has been received that results in your group needing a wheelchair equipped motor coach, please let us know as soon as possible so we can try to make the necessary change for your group. These motor coaches are not always available and early notification will allow us to fulfill your request. I have enclosed a tentative itinerary for your review. We would like to offer you optional cancellation insurance. This insurance covers illness of your child at time of trip departure or death of an immediate family member, preventing your child from being able to go on the trip. Student Travel Protection Program The Student Travel Protection Program has been designed to provide your traveling young person with the necessary coverage to safeguard your travel "investment" and your child from unforeseen circumstances. This plan also provides emergency medical coverage, emergency medical evacuation as well as other necessary travel protection benefits Student Travel Protection Plan Cost The cost for the Student Protection Program is affordable. To figure your premium cost, simply multiply the cost of your trip by a rate factor of.0422. For example: a trip with the cost of $1,000 would be $42.20 ($1,000 x.0422). Your trip cost can include any "nonrefundable money"; this can include camp fees, airfare, hotel, etc. Minimum trip cost of $300 required for enrollment.
