6. Lydd Partnership Assets (Appendix 2) a) Rocyn Williams said that he had received an enquiry from Friends of Brenzett School who wished to hire the eight stalls but did not have the 80 available to do so. Cllr Goddard said that he had received an enquiry from an organisation with similar difficulties in paying the suggested amount for hire of the stalls and had discussed this with Angela. Following this discussion the recommendation is to keep the hire prices for commercial users but where there is a voluntary group or charity wishing to use the equipment this should be done on a free of charge basis with the request for a sensible to be made as appropriate. Rocyn Williams to feed that back to Brenzett. b) The draft Equipment Hire Charge document was circulated for approval. Emma Jane Ross asked if the deposit could be in the form of a cheque which could be held and then ripped up if the goods were returned in good condition. It was noted that this would be the acceptable. BT Coronation Square phone box Councillor Goddard reported that the options for locating the defibrillator had been discussed by Lydd Town Council the previous evening. Should the phone box be the preferred option it would need to be adopted by the Town Council rather than the Partnership.and would be in site of the CCTV. 8. Street Scene Councillor Mrs Carole Waters said that there was bad news as she had no word on the bins and had not heard from Stuart Peall on this matter. When the street signs had been washed two had been missed outside the Police Station. There was good news that the bike which was put out for Lydd Club Day was still in situ.and thanked Paul Croft for watering the plants. It was noted that Mr Croft was on holiday and Cllr Waters said she would have a word with the shop to see if they would water in his absence. She went on to say that she now had bike no.2 donated by a resident which she hoped to attach to the railings outside the Church. Rocyn Williams said that Cllr Waters could stick it there and see if anyone complains. Emma Jane Ross said that she also had another bike with basket available.. Cllr Waters said that she would be happy to donate some lavender plants for the flower bed in Coronation Square as it was looking uncared for. Emma Jane Ross offered that the Youth Set would like to get involved with this project.
