Citibank Online Investments Release News May 2008 In a continued effort to enhance the user experience with Citibank Online Investments, new features have been added to Citibank Online Investments based on system analysis and user feedback. Daily accrued Interest now available for term products Citibank Online Investments clients can now view their accrued interest 1. The current and daily interest accrual has been added to various screens within Citibank Online Investments. With this release, the Maturity Report has also been upgraded to include a date range field in addition to new reporting filters. For clients who do not currently have access to the maturity report, please contact your Citi representative to have it added. Below are some of the changes that you will notice on the platform: Dashboard On the dashboard, the current accrued interest will be displayed in a new column next to the Total Position. Refer to screenshot directly below New column added for accrued Interest to date. 1 Accrued interest is calculated on a straight-line basis assuming the investment is held until maturity. In the event that a deposit is terminated early, the accrued interest will differ from what will actually be paid at termination. This will mainly result from fees imposed by Citi to cover the economic losses it incurs from the early termination. The following formula is applied to calculate daily interest: Accrued Interest = Total Interest Payable x Number of Days Elapsed Deposit Tenor 2
Open Contracts Report Within the open contracts report, the accrued interest will be displayed in a new column next to the Gross Interest. Refer to screenshot directly below: New column added for accrued Interest to date 3
Maturity Report The maturity report has been enhanced to include daily accrued interest as well as new fields and filters for reporting ease. Refer to screenshot directly below. Date range: A date field has been added to the maturity report, allowing users to run data for a specific date or within a date range. New filters: New filtering fields have been added, creating ease of data management. Clients can now research deals booked by a particular user. The report can also be filtered by status (Open or Matured). An open status will display contracts that have not yet matured as of today. All deals now included: The maturity report will provide information for all deals within the dates selected including those open and matured. Select ALL from the Contract Status filter to view all deals on report or filter by desired status. Detailed accrued interest history: For each deal displayed in the maturity report, clients can view the daily interest accrued over the entire tenor of the transaction or select a shorter pre-populated time period for which the event history should be listed. These periods are: 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, half year, 1 year or any date. The detailed transaction report can be exported to excel format. Filter report to view transactions booked by a specific user Users can select a specific date, Default is today s date. Select icon to expand and review daily interest accrual Expand to enter date range of up to 90 day intervals Users can filter by status (Open, Matured or ALL).
