Study options Face-to-face lectures CTA1 Foundations and CTA2 Advanced candidates can attend face-to-face lectures, which are typically held fortnightly in most Australian capital cities, and are three hours in length. CTA3 Advisory also holds face-to-face lectures subject to demand. Distance learning CTA1 Foundations, CTA2 Advanced and CTA3 Advisory candidates can choose to study via distance learning and receive support from comprehensive electronic, online and printed resources, as well as web/teleconference tutorials. Intensive learning CTA1 Foundations candidates may opt to choose the intensive study format, which is typically held over a six week period that concludes with an exam. Assessment only CTA1 Foundations, CTA2 Advanced and CTA3 Advisory candidates can accelerate their studies by progressing directly to the assessment for the course if they have the required prior study, qualifications and experience. Single unit study CTA1 Foundations candidates can purchase single course modules if they wish to fill a specific knowledge gap or support their career development without having to enrol in a full course.
