RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 1 RE: Approval of Past Town Board Minutes WHEREAS, Town Clerk Rachael Rancourt has provided copies of the minutes of the September 7, 2016 Town Board Meeting to all members of the Beekman Town Board; and WHEREAS, Town Board members have had the opportunity to review said minutes; now therefore be it RESOLVED, the Town Board hereby adopts the minutes of the September 7, 2016 Town Board Meeting.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 2 RE: Award Bids for Town Clean-Up WHEREAS, Town clean-up day has been scheduled for Saturday October 22, 2016 between the hours of 7:00am and 2:00pm in the Town Hall parking lot; and WHEREAS, bids were received for services as described in the legal published notice and opened and read publicly by the Town Clerk on September 15, 2016 at 10:00am; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Recycle Depot be awarded the contract for clean-up day; and be it further RESOLVED, that the Supervisor be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all documents necessary to carry out the services.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 3 RE: Award Bids for Highway Materials offers the following and moves for its adoption: WHEREAS, authorization was given for the Town Clerk to advertise bids for Highway Materials for 2017; and WHEREAS, said bids were received, opened and read publicly on September 15, 2016 @10:30 am and have been reviewed by the Highway Superintendent and Town Clerk; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the bids are hereby awarded as recommended by the Highway Superintendent as attached hereto.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 4 - PULLED RE: Adjust Bookkeeper Status from Part-time to Full-time offers the following and moves for its adoption: WHEREAS, the Town Board approved Nicole Scaramuzzo as part-time bookkeeper on April 6, 2016; and WHEREAS, the Town Board is authorized under Town Law to make appointments and set salaries; and WHEREAS, there is a need to have a full-time Bookkeeper; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Beekman hereby appoint Nicole Scaramuzzo to the position of full-time Bookkeeper at an hourly rate not to exceed $26 per hour, now therefore be it RESOLVED, that Nicole Scaramuzzo will begin the full-time Bookkeeper position commencing September 26, 2016.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 5 RE: Authorize Fall Festival Entertainment WHEREAS, the 2016 budget includes funding for entertainment for the annual Fall Festival scheduled for October 15, 2016; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following expenditures for the Fall Festival are hereby authorized: 1) DJ Productions for $375 2) Wizards Castle Combo and attendant $605

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 6 RE: Approve Teen Leadership Council Retreat WHEREAS, Beekman Teen Leadership Council has an opportunity to attend a retreat at Ramapo For Children in Rhinebeck, New York on October 22, 2016; and WHEREAS, up to 20 children and 2 staff from the Teen Leadership Council will be attending this event at a cost of $75.00 per person with the Teen Leadership Council Member to pay $50.00 and the Town to pay $25.00; and WHEREAS, the cost of the bus is $800; and WHEREAS, the fees for the bus and a portion of the event fee have been accounted for in the 2016 Budget, with the Teen Leadership Council providing the other portion through fundraising activities; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board approves the Teen Leadership Council to attend the Team Building Trip with a fee not to exceed $2,450.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 7 RE: Bond Reduction of Beekman Chase -- PULLED

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 8 RE: Wave 30 day Notice for Liquor License WHEREAS, Pleasant Ridge Pizzeria Company, Inc. doing business at 2859 Route 55, Poughquag, New York in the Town Of Beekman is upgrading its Liquor License and intends to file for a New York State Liquor License for the upgrade; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Alcohol Beverage Control Law 64 (2A), an applicant must give the municipality thirty (30) days notice of the pending liquor license application unless the municipality consents to waive this thirty (30) day requirement; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the Town Board of the Town of Beekman hereby waives the thirty (30) days notice period in regard to Pleasant Ridge Pizzeria Company, Inc. allowing an earlier submission of the liquor license application.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 9 RE: Amend Trips for Senior Citizens WHEREAS, Senior Citizen Trips to various locations were approved on March 2, 2016; and WHEREAS, the trip to Huguenot Street/Benmari Winery on September 15, 2016 has been canceled due to lack of interest; and WHEREAS, the non-refundable bus deposit of $200 had been previously submitted and a balance is now due of $950; and WHEREAS, it is the intention for the Senior Citizens to schedule another bus trip in place of this cancelled trip; now therefore be it RESOLVED, that the following trip be added: October 13, 2016 to the Mark Twain Museum in Hartford, Connecticut and the New England Carousel Museum in Bristol, Connecticut for a fee of $37.00 for Residents Seniors, $47.00 for Non-Resident/Non- Seniors Grandfathered, and $57.00 for other Non-Resident/Non-Seniors; and be it further RESOLVED, that deposits of 50% are required for tours, shows and meals to guarantee the reservations, which deposits are reimbursed to the Town through ticket sales for this event.

RESOLUTION NO. 09:21:16 10 RE: Payment of Claims WHEREAS, the Comptroller has audited and approved claims pursuant to Sect. 119 of Town Law as set forth in the attached abstracts; be it RESOLVED, that the payment, therefore, is hereby authorized as follows: Claims to be paid from the A-General Fund $ 17,334.17 Claims to be paid from the DA-Highway Fund $ 80,200.75 Claims to be paid from the SS Dover Ridge Sewer District Fund $ 5,586.37 Claims to be paid from the SW Dover Ridge Water District Fund $ 1,065.52 $104,186.81 Payroll 19 9/22/16 Paid $57,126.66 General Fund $ 37,435.35 Highway Fund $ 19,691.31
