New BSB number Have you updated your BSB? In July 2012, we changed our BSB number to 659-000. To allow time for our members to update their details, we have continued to operate with both the old and new BSB. However, as of 31 December 2012 only the new BSB 659-000 will work when you re sending funds from or receiving funds to your SGE Credit Union account/s. We encourage you to advise your direct credit and direct debit suppliers of the new BSB 659-000 as soon as possible. It may take time for some organisations to update details with our new BSB 659-000. Please let us know if you encounter any difficulties and we will endeavour to contact these organisations. We have provided direct credit and direct debit advice letter templates to help you complete this process. They are simple, downloadable forms on our website www.sgecu.com.au These can be completed online and printed at your convenience. You can then provide the completed and signed forms to your direct credit and debit suppliers to authorise them to update our new BSB number. Your direct charge free ATM network is changing. From early October 2012, all existing Visa Debit and Access cardholders will receive a new card. Members will then be able to use the new card for direct charge free access to SGE s new ATM network. SGE s extensive, nationwide ATM network is changing and now includes SGE Credit Union Westpac St.George BankSA and Bank of Melbourne machines. That s more than 2,900 in total, and they re all free of the ATM direct charge fee! This change means that rediatm and NAB ATMs will no longer be free for SGE members and transactions will incur a foreign bank ATM fee, commonly known as a direct charge fee. After you key in your PIN, a message will appear on the ATM screen and you will be shown how much the ATM owner will charge you to use the ATM, commonly $2.00. You will be asked whether you want to continue with your transaction or whether you want to cancel. The good news is that with the extensive SGE and Westpac Group ATM network you ll never be far from a fee free ATM! In circumstances where the number of nominated and eligible Director candidates exceeds the number of Director vacancies that are to be filled, SGE Credit Union s Constitution requires that the election of Directors must be determined by separate ballot held during the Credit Union s Annual General Meeting. The ballot will be held at the commencement of the Annual General Meeting with the results to be declared under Agenda Item 3.
