Forum Objec ve:: The Microfinance industry over the past two decades has received some contribu ons from donor agencies both within and outside Ghana. Microfinance, however, measured, has grown rapidly since the start of the present decade, growing by 20 30 percent annually. Microfinance ins tu ons currently provide financial services to an es mated 25% of Ghana's total popula on. The industry today con nues to grow and hinges on donor support and other interven ons but there s ll remains huge gaps as evidenced by the lack of alterna ve and compe vely priced on lending funds for the MFIs in Ghana. This coupled with the recent Bank of Ghana's minimum upward adjustment across the sector has called for alterna ve funding sources. The industry needs lots of investments in both equity and debt financing to help the MFIs in Ghana to grow in terms of outreach and also to be financially sustainable in promo ng financial inclusion agenda in Ghana. Hence, the need to find these specially selected group of Fund Managers who are willing and determined to invest in the Microfinance Ins tu ons in Ghana.
