Terms and Conditions: 1. The promotion period is from 3 April 2018 to 30 June 2018 (both dates inclusive) ( Promotion Period ). 2. Welcome Reward - To be eligible for the Credit Card Free Spending Credit ( Free Spending Credit ) of HK$800, new customers should fulfill the following requirements ( Eligible New Customers ): (i) visit any branch of Shanghai Commercial Bank Limited (the Bank ) and successfully apply for SMART Banking Service and Personal Internet Banking Service during the Promotion Period, (ii) successfully apply for Shanghai Commercial Bank My Smart Card ( My Smart Card ) (excluding supplementary credit card and/or convert from World Credit Card to My Smart Card), and (iii) accumulate an eligible spending of HK$8,000 or above within the first 2 months after the issuance of the card. New customers refer to customers who have not held any Hong Kong Dollars/ Foreign Currency savings, checking, fixed deposits accounts or credit card (excluding supplementary credit card) at the Bank in the preceding 12 months from the date of account opening. - To be eligible for the Free Spending Credit of HK$300, existing SMART Banking customers or customers upgraded to SMART Banking during the Promotion Period should fulfill the following requirements ( Eligible Existing Customers ): (i) set up or maintain the Personal Internet Banking Service during the Promotion Period, (ii) successfully apply for My Smart Card (excluding supplementary credit card) during the Promotion Period, and (iii) accumulate an eligible spending of HK$5,000 or above within the first 2 months after the issuance of the card. - Eligible spending only includes retail purchase and online purchase, and does not include outstanding balance, cash advance, balance transfer amount, purchase and/or recharge prepaid card or e-wallets, purchase of casino chips/ traveler s cheque, online/atm bill payment, tax payment, all payment of credit card charges (e.g. annual fees, finance charges, late charges or interests, etc.), all transactions which are unposted/ unauthorized/ cancelled/ refunded/ found to be fraudulent or any other unqualified transactions as determined by the Bank. - Each Eligible New Customer/ Eligible Existing Customer can enjoy their respective Welcome Reward once only. - The Bank will credit the Free Spending Credit to the accounts of the principal card of My Smart Card of the Eligible New Customers/ Eligible Existing Customers on or before 31 August 2018 without prior notice. - Eligible New Customers/ Eligible Existing Customers should maintain valid the principal card of My Smart Card and SMART Banking Service at the time when the Free Spending Credit is credited, otherwise the reward will be forfeited without prior notice. - If the cardholder cancels the credit card within 12 months from the redemption of the gift, the Bank will charge an administrative fee of HK$600 and such fee will be debited from the relevant credit card account without prior notice to the cardholder. 3. Upgrade Reward
- To enjoy the Upgrade Reward of up to ten-times Bonus Points (including basic one-time Bonus Point), SMART Banking customers should successfully apply for My Smart Card (excluding supplementary credit card and convert from World Credit Card to My Smart Card) during the Promotion Period and spend on local dining, overseas and/or online transactions with My Smart Card within the first 6 months after the issuance of the card. - The details of Spending Period and Additional Bonus Points Credit Date are shown below: Card Issue Month Spending Period Additional Bonus Points Credit Date April 2018 3 April 2018 to 30 September 2018 May 2018 1 May 2018 to 31 October 2018 30 November 2018 31 December 2018 June 2018 1 June 2018 to 30 November 2018 31 January 2019 - Customers can enjoy an additional two-times Bonus Points (three-times Bonus Points in total) for local dining and overseas transactions with the cap at 25,000 Bonus Points per month, as well as an additional nine-times Bonus Points (ten-times Bonus Points in total) for online transactions with the cap at 25,000 Bonus Point per month. - Eligible spending only includes the following transactions made with My Smart Card (include principal card and supplementary card) during the Spending Period: Eligible local dining spending: any transactions made at a local restaurant, fast food shop, dining service in hotel, bar and lounge (made by the merchant s terminal with printed sales slip) in Hong Kong Dollars within the Promotional Period, except transactions made with merchants with their merchant category codes not defined as a dining place or restaurant, overseas dining spending, private banquet, party, private home cuisine, the food court/ supermarket/ restaurant in department store, club/ clubhouse, and any unauthorized spending. Eligible overseas spending: overseas spending in foreign currencies, while any transactions settled in Hong Kong Dollars will be excluded. Eligible online spending: any transaction made online in local or foreign currencies. If a transaction can be considered as both eligible overseas spending and eligible online spending, the Bank will regard it as online spending. - Eligible spending does not include online bill payments, tax payments, cash advances, monthly instalments for retail purchases, Automatic Teller Machine bill payments, autopay, recurring transactions, Octopus Automatic Add Value Service, Cash Instalment Program-related amounts, purchase and/or recharge prepaid card or e-wallets, finance charges, late charges, annual fees, bank charges and casino chips purchases. - The Bank will determine the eligibility of the transactions based on the merchant codes/ transaction types defined from time to time by Mastercard Asia / Pacific (Hong Kong) Limited or the merchants acquiring banks. The Bank has sole and absolute discretion to determine the eligibility of a transaction, and may modify the terms from time to time without prior notice. The Bank has no obligation to clarify which transactions are eligible for the promotion before the transactions are
made. - Each principal card account and any related supplementary card accounts shall be treated as one eligible account. 4. Total Asset Balance Growth Reward - To enjoy the Total Asset Balance Growth Reward, SMART Banking customers should fulfill the following requirements ( Eligible Customer ): New / Upgrade to SMART Banking customer has HK$3,000,000 growth in Total Asset Balance within the first 3 months of account opening ; and conduct any one or more of the Eligible Transactions with accumulated transaction amount of HK$1,000,000 or above (illustrated below). For customer who did not hold any account with the Bank in March 2018, his/ her Total Asset Balance will be treated as zero. Total Asset Balance means the monthly aggregate balance of the daily average of all the balances in the deposits accounts, structural deposit and credit card accounts, the market values of the securities and investment products in the securities accounts, and the total premium paid for life insurance plans issued by Hong Kong Life Insurance Limited which were applied through the Bank held in the name of the Customer with the Bank, including any credit balances, securities and investment products of those accounts pledged or charged in favor of the Bank. If the Customer applies for the SMART Banking Service in his/ her sole name, all asset balance of the joint account(s) of the Customer will not be included, and vice versa. - Eligible Transactions include: Investment Funds: subscribe UT in a lump sum with subscription fee not lower than 1.5%

The relevant Free Spending Credit will be credited to the valid My Smart Card accounts held by the Eligible Customers on or before 31 October 2018. If an Eligible Customer does not maintain a valid My Smart Card of the Bank when the Free Spending Credit is credited by the Bank, the Bank will credit cash of equivalent value to the aforesaid customer s settlement account without prior notice. - Each Eligible Customer will be entitled to the Total Asset Balance Reward only once. Joint account holders will be considered as one Eligible Customer. - The gift is subject to a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last. The Bank reserves the right to offer HK$4,888 Free Spending Credit as replacement of a set of Chinese Zodiac Crystal Figurines / HK$388 Free Spending Credit as replacement of a Crystal Dog Figurine without prior notice, if the gift is out of stock. The gift cannot be redeemed for cash, other discounts and is non-transferable. The Bank is not the supplier of the gift and makes no representations or guarantees as to the quality of the gift. The supplier shall be solely responsible for the quality, warranty and after-sale service and other matters in connection with the gift, to which the Bank shall have no liability whatsoever. - If the investment product subscription or total paid premium for life insurance plan is made in a currency other than Hong Kong Dollar, the transaction amount of relevant products will be calculated based on the corresponding foreign exchange rate determined by the Bank. - SMART Banking Join / Update Date, accumulated transaction amount of Eligible Transactions and the Total Asset Balance Growth are subject to the record of the Bank. - Eligible Customers should maintain the respective SMART Banking Service at the time for the
redemption of Total Asset Balance Growth Reward / when the Free Spending Credit is credited, otherwise the reward will be forfeited without prior notice. - For details of the investment products, please refer to the relevant offering documents. Investment products subscriptions are bounded by the terms and conditions of the Bank. - The Bank distributes the investment fund for the product issuer/ fund management company and the investment fund is a product of the product issuer/ fund management company but not the Bank. - In respect of an eligible dispute (as defined in the Terms of Reference for the Financial Dispute Resolution Centre in relation to the Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme) arising between the Bank and the customer out of the selling process or processing of the related transaction, the Bank will enter into a Financial Dispute Resolution Scheme process with the customer; however any dispute over the contractual terms of the product should be resolved between directly the product issuer/fund management company and the customer. 5. Securities Offers - These offers are only applicable to SMART Banking customers who have successfully opened a new securities account at the Bank during the Promotion Period ( New Securities Customers ). - New Securities Customers do not include: Customers who have maintained any securities account with the Bank (whether as in the form of personal or joint accounts) within the 12 months preceding the account opening date; or Customers who cancel the existing securities account and re-open a new securities account within the Promotion Period; or Existing personal securities account holders who open a new securities account under the same name within the Promotion Period; or Existing joint account holders who open a new personal account within the Promotion Period; or Existing securities customers who open a joint securities account in which all the joint account holders are the existing securities account holders of the Bank. - New Securities Customers registering for designated e-channel services can enjoy HK$100 Free Spending Credit To be eligible for the Free Spending Credit of HK$100, New Securities Customers should register for at least two of the following e-channel services simultaneously during the Promotion Period: (i) Internet Stock Trading Service, or (ii) SMS Notification Service, or (iii) e-statement Service ( Eligible New Securities Customers ). The HK$100 Free Spending Credit will be credited to the valid My Smart Card accounts held by the Eligible New Securities Customers on or before 31 August 2018. If an Eligible New Securities Customer does not maintain a valid My Smart Card of the Bank when the Free Spending Credit is credited by the Bank, the Bank will credit cash of equivalent value to the aforesaid customer s settlement account without prior notice. If the new securities account is a joint account, it shall be treated as the same entity to be entitled to this offer once only. - New Securities Customers can enjoy first 3-month 0% brokerage commission discount for buying securities with the reward of up to HK$3,888 Free Spending Credit To be eligible for the 0% brokerage commission discount for buying securities, New Securities
Customers should execute buying transaction of any local securities listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited or eligible A-shares of Shanghai and Shenzhen Connect listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange/ the Shenzhen Stock Exchange via any trading channels of the Bank during the below Offer Period of Brokerage Commission Discount for Buying Securities. The amount of brokerage commission discount is capped at HK$3,888 Free Spending Credit. If the brokerage commission is settled in RMB, the discount amount will be converted into Hong Kong dollar based on the exchange rate quoted by the Bank on the date of reward. Customers need to pay the brokerage commission for the relevant transactions in advance. If the customer possesses a joint securities account, it shall be treated as another entity. The Bank reserves the right to credit the Free Spending Credit to the valid My Smart Card held by one of the joint account holders. If a New Securities Customer does not maintain a valid My Smart Card of the Bank when the Free Spending Credit is credited by the Bank, the Bank will credit cash of equivalent value to the aforesaid customer s settlement account without prior notice. - Customers should maintain valid securities accounts, settlement accounts and SMART Banking Service at the time when the Free Spending Credit / cash reward is credited, otherwise the offers will be forfeited without prior notice. - Should there be any unsuccessful or delayed transactions due to any reason or dispute of the execution of securities transactions of the customers, the decision of the Bank shall be final and conclusive. 6. Life Insurance Offers - The promotion period is from 28 December 2017 to 27 December 2018 (both dates inclusive) ( Life Insurance Promotion Period ).
- To enjoy up to 15% First Year Premium Discount for a basic plan, SMART Banking customers should successfully apply for Prime Reward Whole Life Savings Insurance Plan, Monthly Reward Whole Life (3-Year Pay) Plan or designated life insurance plans of Hong Kong Life Insurance Limited ( Hong Kong Life ) during the Life Insurance Promotion Period. The minimum requirement of the Total Asset Balance for SMART Banking customers is fixed at HK$1,000,000 (or its equivalent in other foreign currencies). If the Total Asset Balance is less than HK$1,000,000 (or its equivalent in other foreign currencies), the Bank will charge and debit a SMART Banking monthly service fee of HK$200 from any of the customer s accounts without prior notice. 8. SMART Banking customers are bounded by the Terms and Conditions for SMART Banking Service. For details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions for Bank Accounts and General Services of the Bank.
