Short, Jr. District Planning Manager VDOT - Staunton District 811 Commerce Road Staunton, VA 24401-9029 RE: Approval of FY 15-18 Highway TIP Dear Mr. Short: The Staunton-Augusta-Waynesboro MPO Policy Board met on June 4, 2014 and unanimously approved the release of the FY 15-18 Highway TIP for public review and, barring any negative public comments or those that would require the attention of the Policy Board, final approval of the TIP upon conclusion of the 21 day public review period. This matter was advertised as required by our public participation plan and no public comment was received during the public comment period. A copy of the FY 15-18 Highway TIP and the meeting minutes showing the approval are attached for your review. The attached FY 15-18 Highway TIP contains corrections from the original version provided to SAWMPO staff from VDOT. The attached version removes projects that are not located within the SAWMPO Metropolitan Planning Area. Please take the necessary steps to effect approval at the VDOT and FHWA level.
