They explained the ongoing plans and reasons behind decisions for the various changes, answered questions and listened to concerns. The bulbs-outs are designed to keep the existing lanes in both directions intact, although there were remaining concerns regarding how far out the center island will extend into the crossing. Work should commence soon, so please expect some disruption in the short-term during construction. Concerns were voiced regarding the red-curbing along Bermuda and the fact they would reduce the number of parking spaces. However, the city (and many residents) feel that the safety aspect is important to improve lines of sight for both pedestrians and drivers. Christina Forrest Karen Debono Eleni Hulman treasurer@fiestagardenshoa.com secretary@fiestagardenshoa.com editor@fiestagardenshoa.com The pool is now closed. The last day was Sunday, October 15th. Thank you for another great summer. The weather was warmer this summer so it was great to see the pool being used so much! Thank you to our lifeguards and everyone who respected the rules and made the summer fun and memorable. Next month I will have a more detailed report on pool parties, guest fees and swim lessons. The forms have been submitted to begin the process of applying for a RPPP. This will be for Texas, Dublin, Trinity, and Potomac and both Bermuda and Fiesta up to Sullivan. We will keep you informed as to the progress of the application. Residents will be contacted during the process by the city to ensure there is a majority that want the RPPP. The goal is to reduce the number of non-resident parking in our community. We had a great turnout at the last board meeting. We would love to see you all again and more residents attend. There are a lot of important local issues discussed which affect us all. We have heard complaints that issues related to the TAP and the new cabana have not been broadly discussed or disseminated. However, these and other issues are regularly discussed at board meetings and published in the Bee. So please read the Bee and attend the meetings -- your viewpoint is important.. The City of San Mateo is accepting applications for the Private Sewer Lateral Cost Sharing Program. Applications and bids must be approved prior to the replacement of your full sewer lateral. This program does not have a retroactive component. For questions, please contact Alonso Barahona at (650) 522-7334 or abarahona@cityofsanmateo.org http://www.cityofsanmateo.org/1910/citywide-private- Lateral-Cost-Sharing-Pr
