A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK APPROVING MEASURE R FUNDING AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF BURBANK AND THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (LACMTA) FOR THE I-5 CORRIDOR ARTERIAL SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 2 (MR310.38), SR-134 CORRIDOR ARTERIAL SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 2 (MR310.31), MEDIA DISTRICT TRAFFIC SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS (MR310.33), AND GLENOAKS BLVD. ARTERIAL AND FIRST ST. SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS (MR310.46) PROJECTS THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK FINDS: A. In 2008, Los Angeles County voters approved Measure R, a sales tax based transportation improvement program. B. In 2017, the City of Burbank requested Measure R funding from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) for the I-5 Corridor Arterial Signal Improvements Phase 2 (MR310.38), SR-134 Corridor Arterial Signal Improvements Phase 2 (MR310.31), Media District Traffic Signal Improvements (MR310.33), and Glenoaks Blvd. Arterial and First St. Signal Improvements (MR310.46) ( Projects ). C. The request was approved by the LACMTA Board on April 27, 2017. D. The LACMTA Board programmed $5,400,000 for the Projects. The City has programmed $550,000 for the Projects. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BURBANK RESOLVES: 1. The terms and provisions of the Measure R Funding Agreements for the I- 5 Corridor Arterial Signal Improvements Phase 2 (MR310.38, attached hereto as Attachment A), SR-134 Corridor Arterial Signal Improvements Phase 2 (MR310.31, attached hereto as Attachment B), Media District Traffic Signal Improvements (MR310.33, attached hereto as Attachment C), and Glenoaks Blvd. Arterial and First St. Signal Improvements (MR310.46, attached hereto as Attachment D), between the City of Burbank and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) for the Projects are approved Exhibit A

2. The City Manager, or his designee, is authorized to execute the Measure R Funding Agreements and to make and approve amendments, subject to City Attorney approval as to form, that do not materially affect the terms of the Funding Agreements, such as redistributing Funds among existing budget line items or non-material schedule changes.
