Crime Module 1. Revision to Eligibility Limits for CRM 1 & 2 Advice and Assistance The capital and income limits for advice and assistance work have been revised in accordance with Keycard 44a. Capital ilaw will show a notification when the Capital limit is exceeded. This is 1,000 for those with no dependants 1,335 for those with one dependant 1,535 for those with two dependants plus 100 increase for each extra dependant after two Clients will be passported if they are receipt of the following: Income Support Income Based Job Seekers Allowance Income Based Employment and Support Allowance Guarantee State Pension Credit Working Tax Credit plus Child Tax Credit* or Working Tax Credit with disability element* * Gross Income not to exceed 14,213 for passporting. If the client you are checking eligibility is in receipt of the support allowances or credits listed, select yes to the question at the top of the Capital Details screen. Income ilaw will show a notification if the Total Weekly Disposable Income exceeds 99 per week. Partner Fixed Rate Allowance (per week) Please note that the fixed rate allowance for Partners is 33.65. This figure will have to be entered in manually to be used in the calculations. Advocacy Assistance Please note that these screens do not perform the calculations for the capital and income limits for Advocacy Assistance. All Civil Modules Family, Civil and Immigration 1. Revision to CW1 Eligibility Limits The capital and income limits for in scope civil work have been revised in accordance with Keycard 49. This revision applies to the eligibility calculations in the Controlled Work 1 billing screens in the Family, Civil and Immigration modules. Capital - disposable ilaw will show a notification when the disposable Capital limit is exceeded. 3,000 Legal Representation in respect of an Immigration matter set out in Regulation 8(3) 8,000 All other forms of civil legal services This is 1,000 for those with no dependants 1,335 for those with one dependant 1,535 for those with two dependants plus 100 increase for each extra dependant after two Income- Gross and disposable limits ilaw will show notification if the Gross income is not to exceed 2,657 per month. (A higher gross income cap applies to families with more than 4 child dependants. 222 will be added to the base gross income cap shown above for the 5th and each subsequent child dependant.) Notification will be shown if the disposable income limit exceeds 733 per month. Partner If the client s partner has means to be aggregated click Yes in the Capital Details screen. The fixed rate weekly allowance of 177.50 will show in the Income Details screen and be used in the Income eligibility calculation.
