ORDINANCE NO. 0-04-09 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CROCKETT, TEXAS, BY THE AMENDMENT OF APPENDIX A, ZONING; AMENDING SECTIONS 201. 1, 201.2, 201.3, 201.4, 201.5, 201.6, 201.7, 201.8 AND 201.9 AND THE LAND USE MATRIX, TO REGULATE THE PLACEMENT OF COMMUNICATION TOWERS FOR CELLULAR TELEPHONES, RADIO, TELEVISION AND OTHER COMMUNICATIONS; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. SECTION 1. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CROCKETT, TEXAS HEREBY ORDAINS: Section 201.1. AR agricultural-residential district, subsection C is amended to read as follows: C. Specific uses. 1. Cemeteries. 2. Child care facilities. 3. Communication towers for cellular telephones, radio, television and other communications. 4. Counseling and rehabilitation homes. 5. Drilling for oil, natural gas or the extraction of sand, gravel or minerals; provided that the operation is conducted in accordance with the ordinances of Crockett and the laws of the State of Texas. 6. Family care facilities for children. 7. Fraternal, lodge or service organization clubhouses. 8. Group care facilities for children. 9. Kennels. 10. Mobile home dwellings. 11. Private airport or landing field. 12. Radio or television station and transmission lines. 13. Recreational vehicle camping areas. Refer to the land use matrix for land uses permitted by right or requiring a specific use permit. SECTION 3. Section 201.3. R-2 two-family residential district, sub section C is amended to read as follows: 1. Bed and breakfast facilities (see section 307 of the Zoning Ordinance for related restrictions). 2. Cemeteries. 3. Child care facilities. 4. Communication Towers for cellular telephones, radio, television and other communications. 5. Counseling and rehabilitation homes. 6. Country clubs. 7. Family care facilities for children.
8. Fraternal, lodge or service organization clubhouses. 9. Garage apartments. 10. Golf courses or driving ranges. 11. Group care facilities for children. 12. Mobile home dwellings. 13. Private schools. SECTION 4. Section 201.4. R-3 multiple-family residential district, subsection C is amended to read as follows: 1. Boarding houses and lodging houses. 2. Child care facilities. 3. Clinics. 4. Communication towers for cellular telephones, radio, television and other communications. 5. Convalescent, rest, nursing or extended care facilities. 6. Counseling and rehabilitation homes. 7. Fraternal, lodge or service organization clubhouses. 8. Group care facilities for children. 9. Mobile home dwellings. 10. Mobile home parks. 11. Neighborhood business. 12. Private schools. ORDINANCE NO. 0-08C-l0 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CROCKETT, TEXAS, BY THE AMENDMENT OF APPENDIX A, ZONING; AMENDING SECTIONS 201.5.D, 201.6.D, 201.7.D, 201.8.D, AND 201.9.E TO REGULATE THE HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS; CONAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; CONTAINING A REPEALING CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CROCKETT, TEXAS HEREBY ORDAINS: SECTION 1. SECTION 201.5.C-1 COMMERCIAL DISTRICT, sub-section 0 is amended to read as follows: D. Area, coverage and height regulations. SECTION 201.7.C-3 CITY CENTER SHOPPING DISTRICT, sub-section o is amended to read as follows: D. Area, coverage and height regulations. All buildings in the C-3 district must conform to the SECTION 201.8. MANUFACTURING, WAREHOUSING AND WHOLESALING DISTRICT, sub-section 0 is amended to read as follows: D. Area, coverage and height regulations. All buildings in the M district must conform to the SECTION 201.9. I GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT, sub-section 0 is amended to read as follows: E. Area, coverage and height regulations. All buildings in the I district must conform to the SECTION 2. Severability. The provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable, and if any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall for any reason be held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, sentences, clauses or phrases of this Ordinance, but they shall remain in effect, it being the legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of any part. SECTION 3. Repealing Clause All Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances, inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. Effective Date.
