Changing our medical administrator and network saves you and the Company money. Taking a health survey gets you $200 back on your premiums. Getting well in 2010 keeps money in your pocket.! Good health starts with primary care The relationship between you and your primary care doctor is extremely important. As your main point of contact, your doctor will have your total health history. Your doctor will also have sound advice on the specialists you should see, if ever needed. In the end, you benefit with coordinated and improved care. To show our support of primary care, we are renaming the Keystone HMO in Pennsylvania to the Primary Care Plan. The plan will also have some improvements and will continue to emphasize primary care. Open this brochure to learn more about the move to CIGNA HealthCare... You have until Midnight, November 5, to make changes to your benefits or to choose a flexible spending account (FSA) for 2010. If you are in a Glatfelter medical plan and make no changes, your coverage will continue in 2010 under CIGNA. To see all your current benefits coverage, go to the enrollment web site (see back cover for specifics).

The $200 cash back is available to employees electing Glatfelter medical coverage for 2010. You and your spouse, if both enrolling in our plans, need to take the survey to get the cash back. After you take the survey, you ll automatically be signed up for the cash back in 2010. A confirmation will be mailed to you in December. Take the survey online by November 5, 2009! You can find more specifics of this change in your 2010 Health and Welfare Summary Plan Description (SPD) which will be available first quarter of next year on www.glatfelter.com/about_us/careers/benefits.aspx.

A note about premiums The cost of health care in the U.S. continues to rise year after year. While Glatfelter has made great efforts to keep our health and welfare costs below market trends, our medical premiums will increase in 2010. Keep in mind that Glatfelter spends more than $28 million dollars each year on health care for our employees and families. This is almost $12,000 per employee. Our move to CIGNA HealthCare is our most recent effort to help manage premium increases. CIGNA works with its network doctors, hospitals and other health care facilities to negotiate deep discounts on the services you receive. In the end, that will mean lower costs to you, your family and Glatfelter. After you enroll Watch your home mail in December for: your new CIGNA ID card your health care FSA debit card, if new to the plan or you haven t received a new FSA card since January 2007 your confirmation statement verifying your 2010 benefits Can I make changes after November 5? Once open enrollment ends, your benefits will be set for 2010. Your next opportunity to make changes will be for 2011. However, if during the year, you have a change in your family status, such as marriage, divorce, birth, adoption or a change in your spouse s job, you may make some benefit changes within 30 days after the event. If this occurs, contact the Glatfelter Benefits Service Center at 888-60-PAPER (888-607-2737).
