Review of Group performance 2Q2011 vs 2Q2010 Revenue and profit The Group revenue increased by 270% from US$25.2 million in 2Q2010 to US$93.3 million in 2Q2011. The increase came mainly from: a) higher CPO sales volume (increased from 22,850MT to 86,280MT). The surge in CPO sales volume was the result of higher CPO production and third party purchases, and b) higher average selling price ( ASP ) for CPO (increased from US$710 to US$980). The Group operating profit ( OP ) and net profit after tax ( NPAT ) increased to US$8.1 million and US$4.5 million representing an increase of 216% and 260% respectively over those of 2Q2010. Those increases were spurred by higher revenue and an exchange gain of US$1.1 million in 2Q2011. Costs of Operation The Group cost of sales increased by 303% over that of the same period last year. This increase in cost of sales outpaced the increase in revenue as we have a higher proportion of third party CPO purchases. In spite of the higher revenue, our distribution costs decreased by 9% as a result of less CIF sales in this quarter as compared to that of 2Q2010. 10

The administrative expenses were up by 56% over those of 2Q2010. The increase came mainly from higher headcounts as the operations expanded and the strengthening of IDR over US dollar. Other credits, net comprises movement of foreign exchange, insurance claim and gain on disposal of fixed assets. Our foreign exchange gain for the quarter which amounted to US$1.1million, came mainly from the translation of US$ borrowings (due to strengthening of IDR against US$). The Group interest expense increased by 108% as compared to that in 2Q2010. This was mainly due to the higher charge of borrowing cost to the income statement for mature planted area. Under the accounting treatment, interest cost pertaining to mature planted area is expensed whereas interest cost is capitalised during the immature planting phase. 1H2011 vs 1H2010 Revenue and Profit The Group reported revenue of US$141.3 million, which is almost double the revenue achieved in the same period last year. This was due mainly to the higher CPO sales volume (increased from 46,600MT to 126,200MT) as well as higher ASP for CPO (increased from US$720 to US$980). For the period under review, the Group reported OP and NPAT of US$16.4 million and US$9.1 million respectively as compared to US$6.1 million and US$3.3 million respectively in 1H2010. The increase is due mainly to the higher revenue and the exchange gain of US$2.7million in 1H2011. Cost of Operation Total cost of sales was up by 214% to US$119.7 million. This outpaced the increase in revenue as we have a higher proportion of third party CPO purchases during 1H2011. The 95% increase in distribution cost was mainly due to higher CIF sales made in 1Q2011. The administrative expenses were up by 52% over those for 1H2010. The increase came mainly from higher headcounts as the operations expanded and the strengthening of IDR over US dollar. The increase in Other credits, net was due to a US$2.7 million foreign exchange gain. The Group interest expense increased by 95% as compared to that in 1H2010. This was mainly due to the higher charge of borrowing cost to the income statement for mature planted area. For 1H2011, the effective tax rate was relatively higher as losses of certain subsidiaries cannot be off set against the profit of the other entities in the Group. 11

Review of financial position The Group Shareholders equity increased to US$226 million as at 30 June 2011. The increase was due to profit generated in the period (net of payment of US$2.3 million dividend) and gain in translation (due to the strengthening of IDR against US dollar, from US$1: Rp8,991 to US$1: Rp8,597). Total non-current assets increased to US$346 million from US$301 million. This was mainly due to: a) US$21.6 million increase in the value of the biological assets, attributable mainly to expenditure incurred on new planting and on maintenance of immature plantations totalling US$9.4 million, capitalisation of interest and depreciation amounting to US$1.9 million and a foreign exchange translation gain of US$9.8 million (as a result of strengthening of IDR), b) the increase of US$14.4 million in property, plant and equipment. This was mainly due to construction of our 4th CPO mill, spending on infrastructure, buildings, heavy equipment in our plantations and a translation gain of US$3.4 million, and c) US$9.0 million increase in the value of land rights. The increase came mainly from the Group acquisition in 2Q2011, of 2 new subsidiaries which own the land. Total current assets increased by US$21 million to US$108 million as at 30 June 2011. The increase was mainly due to: a) increase in advance payment (under Other Assets ) of US$14.9 million. This comprises payment for the development of new planted area of US$2.3 million, purchase of raw materials amounting to US$7.9 million and prepayment of development for the new mill of US$1.8 million, and b) increase in inventories of CPKO and spare parts amounting to US$3.7 million. The US$36.5 million increase in current liabilities was mainly due to: a) increase in trade payables by US$19.1 million as a result of the purchase of palm oil products towards end June 2011, and b) US$17.4 million increase in short term working capital loan and trade facility which is in line with increase in sales volume. The long-term borrowings increased by US$12.6 million, which were used mainly for additional development of plantations and construction of a new CPO mill. 12

Review of Group Cash flow Our operating cash flow grew by US$9.9 million and US$25.3 million over those of 2Q2010 and 1H2010 respectively. This improvement was principally due to higher revenue achieved in 2011. For the periods ended 2Q2011 and 1H2011, our capital expenditure was US$25.0 million and US$37.2 million respectively, up 120% and 79% respectively over those pertaining to the same periods last year. In 2011, we have higher capital expenditure as we expanded our planting program as well as acquired more land bank. Our cash from financing activities decreased 35% and 40% respectively as compared to those of previous periods. This was principally due to lower drawdown of the bank loan, higher repayment of loan including interest in 2011. 9. Where a forecast, or a prospect statement, has been previously disclosed to shareholders, any variance between it and the actual results. Not applicable. 10. A commentary at the date of the announcement of the significant trends and competitive conditions of the industry in which the Group operates and any known factors or events that may affect the Group in the next reporting period and the next 12 months. The adverse effects of the last El Nino and La Nina are fading. Weather conditions have improved in 1H2011. With the improved weather conditions, palm oil production in both Indonesia and Malaysia (world's major producers) has recovered in the 1H2011. With the expected continuing favourable weather conditions, the global supply outlook for palm oil in the 2H2011 is expected to remain good which may in turn put some pressure on prices of palm oil in 2H2011. However, we believe that the relatively low stocks of oilseeds in several major countries may alleviate the price pressure and provide some support to the prices of vegetable oils. Global demand for vegetable oils is strong this season and is likely to continue to be so in the 2H2011. The supply and demand scenario for vegetable oils is expected to remain robust until end of 2011. In particular, the demand for palm oil will remain strong, with the current higher prices for soy-oil. Given the above, barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Company is expected to perform well in 2011. The increasing mature area and yield will also help the Company to weather some challenges which may occur from time to time in the near future. 11. If a decision regarding dividend has been made.
