Retirement Solved Planning Process Overview The final outcome of our planning process will be a comprehensive retirement plan that clearly articulates how each of our Multi-Discipline Retirement Strategies (MDRS) in your plan will be designed, optimized and deployed. For each Strategy, we follow the same Retirement Solved: Teach, Analyze, Strategize and Guide steps. Each strategy is typically covered in one-two meetings, depending on the complexity of your needs. We also help you uncover more than just numbers as we explore your lifestyle goals and priorities in retirement. Whether you re counting the days or have 15 years until retirement, it makes sense to learn if you ll have the income you ll need to enjoy the retirement you want. This step is a great combination of number crunching and soul searching. During the Process: We Strategize & Design As Your Retirement Strategist, our number one goal is to get you the best possible sustainable retirement outcome while protecting it from any and all risks. We combine your retirement variables (income, investments, risks, etc.), proven financial theories, various financial products and sophisticated financial software to design your new or revised retirement plan. In this process, we re a bit like mad scientists, experimenting with the data and math to come up with just the right retirement success formula. Retirement Solved Planning Process Details The Retirement Solved process is divided into three phases: Income Optimization & Distribution, Tax Efficiency and Risk Management. Phase 1: Income Optimization & Distribution Goals: Create an efficient retirement portfolio by repositioning assets properly utilizing stocks for growth potential and annuities/insurance for principle protection Properly file for Social Security benefits to maximize this important benefit Effectively utilize all income producing assets such as pensions and home equity Results: Implement an efficient Income Distribution Strategy to increase the probability of portfolio survival *The guarantees are backed by the claims paying ability of the issuing insurance company Client Pre-Work: Video and white paper review: income, investments, Social Security, annuities Meeting #1: Discovery and Information Gathering - Initial meeting in which all questionnaires are completed and financial documents are gathered. Meeting #2: Retirement Income Projection Analysis (RIPA) - Current Vs. Proposed - A comprehensive RIPA will be prepared and analyzed versus several economic conditions to assure the best potential retirement outcome. - A suggested RIPA will be developed utilizing the Multi-Discipline Retirement Strategy (MDRS). - A current vs. proposed side by side analysis to identify the benefits and value of the suggested adjustments. - Review of the Reallocation Grid to show necessary adjustments recommended Meeting #3: Portfolio Review Traditional Investments Analysis - A comprehensive review of the current portfolio Vs the alternative MDRS strategy - Macro Portfolio Analysis & Micro Component Analysis - Fee assessment - Relative risk/return Meeting #4: Fixed Index Annuity Overview** - A complete review of Fixed Index Annuities to understand this guaranteed alternative. - FIA s as an alternative to bonds to reduce risk and potentially enhance returns. - Review of specific FIA products & brochures 4 P a g e Securities and advisory services offered through Cetera Advisors LLC, member FINRA, SIPC.

Meeting #5: Final Plan Review, Selection of Solution Providers Q&A - Questions and Answers on any plan elements or product recommendations - A final review of the portfolio analysis, RIPA, MDRS and implementation process Meeting #6 Income Distribution Plan Implementation - If plan accepted, the necessary paperwork will be processed to implement the plan. **Index annuities are insurance contracts that, depending on the contract, may offer a guaranteed annual interest rate and some participation growth, if any, of a stock market index. Such contracts have substantial variation in terms, costs of guarantees and features and may cap participation or returns in significant ways. Any guarantees offered are backed by the financial strength of the insurance company, not an outside entity. Investors are cautioned to carefully review an index annuity for its features, costs, risks, and how the variables are calculated. Phase 2: Develop Your Tax Efficient Income Distribution Strategy Goals: Create a tax-efficient retirement income distribution strategy by effectively converting tax-deferred retirement assets to tax-free assets. Utilize tax-efficient investment management strategies or tax-deferred annuities to reduce taxes on all non-qualified investments. Develop the proper tax sequencing income distribution strategy Result: The goal of zero tax liability or reduced taxation in retirement will increase the probability of portfolio survival Client Pre-Work: Video and white paper review: tax efficiency Phase 3: Develop Your Risk Management Strategy Goals: Create a Life Insurance and long-term care needs assessment to discuss potential needs to reduce these risks when in retirement. Discussions with a qualified Elder Care Law Attorney to create an efficient risk management strategy utilizing proper use of wills and/or trusts to mitigate potential effects of an untimely health care or long-term care event. Discuss the use of home equity as a risk management tool. Result: A well-orchestrated risk management strategy utilizing wills/ trust, home equity and insurance to mitigate the devastating effect a long-term care event can have.
