BEHAVIOR POLICY CHARLESTON TRIP 2017 Behavior on an overnight trip is of the utmost importance. If your child has been suspended, in or out of school, for misbehavior and has not made the effort to improve during the school year, he/she may not be eligible for the trip. Our goal is to include as many students as possible. However, chaperones will not have the resources to deal with constant behavior problems. All students need to be responsible, trustworthy, honest, and respectful of others. Students suspended out of school during the 2016-2017 school year are ineligible. Students sent to In-School-Suspension and/or the recovery room for behavior are subject to a review of past behavior by the team and administration to determine eligibility for the trip. The administration of NCMS will make the final decision on the eligibility of those in question. Loss of eligibility after deposits and final payments are made will result in the loss of the deposit and possibly the entire amount of the trip.
