The Rome Marathon is one of the biggest running events in the world. It is a race that is famous for its sightseeing. Running in Rome will take you through all the famous landmarks. Get your guaranteed entry with Run the Globe and run the eternal city! As mentioned, this course will make you run through many historic landmarks of the city. During your 42.195K journey, you will run through the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, along the Piazza Venezia, and of course the starting line by the colosseum. The Rome marathon is a big loop of 42.195 Km. The race is flat for the most part, you might find cobblestone in few areas. More than just running The capital city of Italy is a fun place to visit. History is everywhere in this city starting with the Roman Empire, then Catholicism with the Vatican, and of course the great Renaissance squares and fountains will take you to different periods of time at every corner After finishing the race, you will deserve the allimportant Rome Marathon commemorative medal!
Our Packages: We proudly offer guaranteed entries; however, the number of spots is limited which makes them available on a first come first serve basis. We are unfortunately not allowed to sell those entries alone. To secure your guaranteed entry to the Maratona di Roma you need to purchase one of our traveling packages. You have the choice of the following two bundles: Our Hotel: We chose to stay at the Hotel President. Located perfectly in the centre of the city, you are 10 minutes walking from the starting/finishing line. This 4-star hotel is in the Colosseo area which is in the heart of the city. Rates per person (2 per room) 3 nights Fri 5 th to Mon 8 th CA $600* *Those rooms are available in the case that 2 runners travel together. However, sharing a room would be possible in the case another runner has the same wish. Single rates 3 nights Fri 5 th to Mon 8 th CA $930* *Price includes breakfast for one person Not included in bundles: Guaranteed Entry Extra night (room) CA $170 CA $400 We offer breakfasts at our hotel. The hotel is in the middle of Rome, you will be in walking distance to all main attractions. Moreover, the hotel is close to the marathon which to avoid long walks after the race. The rooms are vast where you will find a locker for your belongings as well as free Wi-Fi.

Payments could be made via Visa, MasterCard, cheque or etransfer within 24 hours after completion of the form. You must read the booking terms and conditions and tick to agree. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the packages, please feel free to contact us. Payment: At the date of registration, the deposit must be payed (consisting of the amount of the guaranteed entry plus half of the cost of the package). The full amount is due 60 days prior the first day of the trip. Booking accommodations: Run the Globe can customize your package if the dates provided in the brochure don t work with your schedule. Airfare is not included in our packages. Booking Changes: If you wish to change any of your booking once confirmed. An administration fee of $50 will be charged. Prices: All prices in this brochure are correct as at August 2018 and are shown in Canadian dollars (Taxes included). Prices are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations and until payment is received in full. Unused Services: Refunds will not be provided if due to illness or personal choice you do not utilise part or your entire chosen package. It is advised to apply to insurance on your own. However, in most cases your credit card would cover for this purchase. These will be required by the hotel at the time of checkin.
