Thomson Baseline -Overview Earnings Purity Trademarked earnings valuation tool that tells an investor to what extent a corporation has relied on exclusions to boost operating earnings. Baseline has also computed Earnings Purity scores for industry and sector composites, allowing an investor to easily stack any company against its peer group. Graham and Dodd Graham & Dodd creates a framework for relating a stock s price to the value of its core earnings. Shown graphically, the investor can determine if the stock s price is high or low and measures price premium over the value of the company's core earnings. *(The Baseline is based upon three things a stock s earnings, its dividends, and the Risk Free Rate of Return; Baseline is earnings driven.
