SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: Comcast Cable Communications Management, LLC (the Sponsor or Comcast ) is the sponsor of The Comcast Insight Community Invitation (Fall/Winter) Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes ) which will begin at 12:00:01 am E.T. on August 1, 2014 and ends at 11:59:59 pm E.T. on December 31, 2014 (the Sweepstakes Period ). 3. ENTRY: a. There are two ways to enter the Sweepstakes: i. Online Method of Entry: If you have received an email invitation to join the Comcast Insight Community (the panel ) and are eligible according to these Official Rules, you may enter the Sweepstakes via the online method of entry. To see if you qualify to become a panel member, click on the Join Now link provided in the email invitation and follow the instructions on the Comcast Insight Community website to complete the online survey. You will be notified during the completion of the survey if you are eligible to become an official panel member. If during the completion of the survey you receive notification that you are not eligible to become a panel member, you will be redirected to the Sweepstakes entry form where you will be required to enter your true and correct information and submit your entry in order to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. If you are eligible to become a panel member, you will be required to enter and submit your true and correct information on the registration form displayed at the completion of the survey in order to receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes and to continue the process of becoming a panel member. Panel registration and membership is free. Survey must be completed by 11:59:59 P.M. ET on the final day of the Entry Period ( Entry Period ). See Entry Period schedule below for details. The completion of one survey qualifies you for one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for the qualifying Entry Period. You may receive and complete up to five (5) surveys during each Entry Period. ii. Mail-In: Enter the Sweepstakes by mailing in a 3x5 card to Comcast Insight Community Invitation (Fall/Winter) Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 1539, Maryland Heights, MO 63043, with hand printed full name, address, city, zip code, email address, and phone number. See postmark and arrival dates in the Entry Period schedule below. Neither Comcast, nor anyone acting on its behalf, will be responsible for incomplete, illegible, lost, late, misdirected or mutilated entries or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, malfunctioning of any network, hardware or software, whether originating with sender or the Sponsor. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of any entrant, all email entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the email account from which they were sent. For these purposes, an email account holder shall mean the natural person assigned to such email account by the Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with such email account. Any questions regarding the number of entries submitted or the owner of an email account shall be determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion. The Sponsor s time clock is the official clock for this Sweepstakes. By entering, all entrants further agree to be bound by the terms relating to the use of the Sponsor s website as applicable, including its respective Privacy Policy. c. Limit of five (5) entries, per person, per email address, per Entry Period, regardless of method of entry. Entries received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limitation will be void. Only one email address may be used to enter this Sweepstakes. All prizes awarded are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Any attempt to use multiple names or email accounts or other tactics to register or enter more than the stated limits may result in the disqualification by the judges or Sponsor from the Sweepstakes and all associated registrations and/or entries will be void. Mechanically reproduced multiple entries or multiple entries submitted by means of software-generated or other automated processes will be disregarded. d. In the event the Sweepstakes is compromised by a virus, non-authorized human intervention, tampering or other cause that corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, the Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize based on the entries received before the termination date. e. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and may not be returned. Sweepstakes is not open to employees of the Sponsor, and each of their respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, and their advertising or promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of and any persons domiciled with such employees. 5. PRIZES: Twenty-Five (25) Prizes Available: One (1) $200.00 cash gift card. Total Retail Value ( ARV ) of each gift card: $200.00. Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes is $5,000.00 All Prize Winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries. No winner may be awarded more than one (1) prize per Entry Period. If any Winner cannot or will not accept Prize as stated, in Sponsor s discretion, the Winner may forfeit the Prize and the Prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Winner may waive their right to receive a prize. All prizes will be awarded, but unclaimed prizes may be forfeited. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed, except that prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if any advertised prize becomes unavailable. The Winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. The Winner may be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within fourteen (14) days of date of postmark. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release as provided herein, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may, at the sole discretion of the Sponsor, result in the winner s disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of prize to an alternate winner. REMOVAL FROM MAILING LIST: To prevent the Sponsor from mailing you information regarding future Sweepstakes or promotions being conducted by the Sponsor, send a written removal request, specifying the name and address you are requesting to have removed from the mailing list to Comcast Cable Communications Attention: Lifecycle Marketing One Comcast Center Philadelphia PA 19103. The Sponsor has sixty (60) days to process your request after receipt. 9. GENERAL RELEASE/CONDITIONAL LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Participation and entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes an agreement by each entrant to comply with these Official Rules. By entering and participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants release the Sponsor, any other promotional sponsors, and each of their respective parent, affiliate and subsidiary companies, and their advertising or promotional agencies, and their directors, officers, employees, representatives, partners and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes or with the acceptance, possession or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light). Sweepstakes entrant further agrees that, by entering the Sweepstakes, (i) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (ii) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney s fees; (iii) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses; and (iv) any and all disputes will be heard exclusively in the State or Federal Courts in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and entrant waives any objection to the jurisdiction of such courts. 4
10. CONSTRUCTION: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of any entrant and the Sponsor, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein. 11. SPONSOR: The Comcast Insight Community Invitation (Fall/Winter) Sweepstakes is sponsored by Comcast. If applicable, judges decisions regarding the selection of winners and all other aspects of the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding in all respects. No responsibility is assumed for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Sweepstakes.
