Organisation of hygiene awareness for committees, local NGOs and leaders for promoting hygiene Distribution of 5,320 hygiene kits for 26,600 people IOM (International Organization for migration) Unicef (United Nations Children s Fund) SIF s team Strategy SIF s strategy is to open a long-term mission, at least, until the end of the recovery phase. SIF aims to support the earthquake affected people to reach their immediate needs and then to get their autonomy back. That is the reason why our team has started to implement emergency project to reach quick and massive positive impact on needy people. Then, SIF aims to implement temporary projects in order to prepare the rehabilitation phase. SIF s main objective is to launch as soon as possible sustainable projects in its area of intervention. SIF intends to enhance the economy through cash for work activities. Of course, the sustainability of SIF project is improved through a participative approach. That is why SIF, in Haiti, as well as all over the world, wants to involve the concerned population in each phase of the project, from the need assessment, the project design to the implementation and the hand over. So, Secours Islamique France aims to work together with all stakeholders and particularly in partnership with local NGOs or Community Based Organisations (CBOs).
