REGISTER FOR ONLINE BANKING AND MOBILE BANKING Merchants provides a customer website that lets you access your account online anytime, anywhere you have Internet access. Also, enjoy the convenience of mobile banking. Go to merchantsbankofindiana.com and click on Sign-In. Next click on Enroll. You will need your social security number and the checking account number provided on the first page of this letter. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your Online Banking Enrollment including creating your username and password. During the process of signing up for online banking, you will have the option to sign up for mobile banking as well. 2 3 SET UP DIRECT DEPOSIT The best way to use your account is to have recurring deposits such as paychecks or income from other sources deposited directly into checking account. All deposits are swept automatically to the line of credit as payments, reducing the balance and helping to pay off your mortgage faster. In order to have funds available you should set up regular deposits immediately. Contact your employer or income source to learn how to enable direct deposit into your All In One checking account. We have enclosed a direct deposit form for this purpose, but they may have their own preferred method. Your employer or other income source will need your checking account number and bank routing number to set up direct deposit. MOVE MONEY INTO OR OUT OF YOUR ALL IN ONE ACCOUNT Mobile Check Deposit. You can deposit checks anytime with the Merchants Bank of Indiana Mobile App. It s as simple as snapping a photo, saving you a trip to the bank. ACH, EFT, Wire Transfers. You can use Automated Clearing House (ACH), Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or wire transfers to move money into or out of account. Recurring Transfers. You can set up recurring transfers for set amounts of money on designated dates, or initiate one time transfers. Account to Account Transfers. If you receive money in another one of your bank accounts you can arrange to have that income automatically transferred into account. Your
income will go straight into checking account and will then be swept to the line of credit reducing the loan balance. To set up account to account transfers between account and an account at another financial institution, visit the Transfers feature in online banking and choose the Add External Transfer Account. 4 SET UP AUTOMATIC ONLINE BILL PAY Maximize the benefits of account by establishing automatic payment for all of your one-time and recurring monthly bills. After registering for online banking at merchantsbankofindiana.com, click on Bills & Payments to set up online bill pay. Using account as your primary deposit account will help lower the principal balance of your loan until it s time to pay your bills. When you are ready to pay your bills, the funds will automatically be taken from line of credit. You ll also save money on checks, postage, and late fees. Pay virtually any bill with the click of a mouse. Follow the online prompts to add a company or person payee and choose the All In One checking account as the account from which you ll pay your bills. For bills that repeat at the same time each month, for the same amount, set up auto-pay to each payee. For bills that vary each month just log in when necessary and send payments to each payee. 5 6 USE PERSON-TO-PERSON PAYMENTS INSTEAD OF CHECKS Your All In One account comes with a unique and convenient way to pay people you would normally write checks to. Person-to-person (Popmoney) payments allow you to send money to anyone, regardless of where they bank, using only their email address or mobile phone number. You can also receive money directly into account. Person-to-person payments are secure and safe since there is no reason for an exchange of bank account or additional personal information. To use person-to-person payments, after registering for online banking, simply log into the merchantsbankofindiana.com online banking site and click on Bills & Payments, then click on Popmoney. Checks are not automatically issued for the All In One account primarily to reduce the risk of fraudulent transactions or identity theft.
