The Steps to Finding a PowerScans Finding a PowerScan for ETF s requires only easy steps. You ll find they re easy to learn and even easier to follow. To start looking for PowerScans, click on the ETF s button at the top of the page... Then click on the PowerScans button
Keeping it Simple With PowerScans, the only option you ll need to select is your Investment Size. If you ve already selected your Investment Size using any of our other Stocks or ETF tools, you won t need to do it again - The Wizard will remember your choice. Of course, you can always change your Investment Size, simply by clicking on the Change Your Investment Size button.
Select a PowerScan Step is to select your PowerScan. The Wizard offers a number of PowerScans, both for Buy and Short-Sell signals. PowerScan Description The Wizard provides easy-to-understand descriptions for each PowerScan. Clicking on the more link next to any description will reveal a full description of that PowerScan.
Investment Style Each PowerScan is ranked according to one of three Investment Styles:. Conservative: Low risk/reward. Buy signals are triggered only after a number of factors indicating strength are confirmed.. Aggressive: Moderate risk/reward. These strategies identify Buy Signals in stocks earlier, but also entail a little more risk. 3. Very Aggressive: High risk/reward. These PowerScans look for Buy Signals at the earliest possible opportunity. While these strategies enter a Buy Trend as early as possible they can be too early at times, before the Trend establishes itself and is more prone to a reversal in the Sell direction.
Buy Signals Selecting Short-Term and Long-Term Buy Signals is easy with PowerScans. For each Signal type, The Wizard shows you the number of Buy Signals for that day. In the example below, you can see that TheWizard PowerBuys currently has 3 Short-Term Buy Signals and 4 Long-Term Buy Signals. To view the Buy Signals for any PowerScan, simply click on the green Buy Signals button.
Sell Signals The Wizard also provides PowerScans Short-Sell Signals. To find short-sell signals for ETF s, click on the Look for PowerScan Sell Signals tab.

Step : VIEW YOUR POWERSCAN Structuring Your Portfolio and Placing Your Orders Once you ve viewed the list of Buy or Sell Signals, your next step is determine how many ETF s you can buy within your portfolio s structure. Next, you ll want to select the top-ranked ETF s in the list and place your orders with your broker. To view the top-ranked ETF s, click on the header of the Ranking Column to sort the list of ETF s, with the number at the top of the list. (If the list is sorted starting with the lowest-ranked ETF, click the Ranking header again to re-sort it from highest to lowest.)
