Grace Period: Grace Period is e time granted by e Company from e due date of e premium payment wiout levy of intere or penalty. During grace period, e policy is considered to be in force. Grace period is 15 days for monly premium payment mode and 30 days for all oer premium payment modes. B. Lapsation: If premiums due under e policy are not paid even wiin e Grace Period, e policy will Lapse and all benefits under e policy will cease until e policy is revived for full benefits, except as specified below: If at lea one full years premium has been paid and policy has lapsed, e company shall not forfeit e entire premium and will pay of e premiums paid at e end of e 10 year or earlier on dea before e end of e 10 year. If at lea two full years premiums have been paid, e policyholder will be eligible for Reduced Paid-up and Surrender provisions as specified below. C. Reduced Paid up: If at lea two full years premiums have been paid and furer premiums are unpaid and e policy is not surrendered, e policy will acquire e atus of reduced paid up on e date of expiry of grace period until e policy is revived for full benefits. The benefits payable for a policy acquiring reduced paid-up atus are reduced benefits and are as per e formula mentioned below: Reduced Paid-Up Dea Benefit Reduced Paid - Up Dea benefit = Number of premiums paid Total number of premiums payable X Sum Assured on Dea OR 105% of premiums paid, whichever is higher.

Reduced Paid-Up Guaranteed Reduced paid up Guaranteed will be paid as a percentage of e reduced paid up value factor as given below. Reduced Paid - Up Guaranteed = Number of premiums paid Total number of premiums payable X Guaranteed Reduced Paid-Up Guaranteed inal Benefit On survival of e life assured to e maturity and if e policy is not surrendered, following benefits are payable on policy maturity date. Reduced Paid - Up Guaranteed inal Benefit Benefit = Number of premiums paid Total number of premiums payable X Guaranteed inal Benefit D. Revival: can be revived wi full benefits during e policy term but wiin a period of two years from e date of fir unpaid premium. For revival, policyholder will have to submit e proof of continued insurability to e satisfaction of e boa approved underwriting policy. Also policyholder will have to make e payment of all due premiums togeer wi payment of late fees calculated at such intere rate as may be prevailing at e time of e payment. The current intere rate used for calculating e late fee is 8.25% per annum compounded semi-annually. If needed e company may refer it to its medical examiner in deciding on revival of lapsed policy. E. Surrender: In oer to honour unexpected commitments or needs, a Surrender option is available. This policy can be surrendered if at lea two full years premiums are paid. The surrender benefits are payable immediately on surrender. All benefits under e policy shall automatically terminate upon payment of surrender benefit. Guaranteed Surrender Value (GSV): If at lea two full years Premiums have been paid, e acquires a Guaranteed Surrender Value. The Surrender provisions apply only to e Base and not to any Riders. The Guaranteed Surrender Value will be defined as a percentage of Premiums paid. GSV factor multiplied by e total amount of Premiums paid excluding e Premium for extra mortality rating, if any, minus Guaranteed or Guaranteed inal benefit paid out, till e date of surrender. Guaranteed Surrender Value (GSV) payable is subject to minimum amount of zero. SSV will be declared by Company from time to time. F. Loan: The policyholder can also avail loan under is policy provided e policy has acquired surrender value, if two full years premiums have been paid. The policyholder may obtain a loan on e sole security of e policy and on its proper assignment to e Company. The loan amount shall be up to 80% of e available surrender value of e policy, provided at e amount of loan is not less an Rs. 1,000. The current rate of intere on e loan is 8.25% p.a. compounded semi-annually. The same will be determined by company from time to time.

Any fresh loan wiin e permissible limits will be e difference between maximum permissible loan amount less any outanding loans including accumulated intere, if any. All outanding loan and intere ereon shall be deducted from any benefits payable under is policy. In case of policies not In-force or policies not fully paid, if at any point of time, e outanding loan along wi outanding accrued intere exceeds e surrender value payable under is policy, e company reserves e right to foreclose is policy.
