Roscoe Village is a restored 1800s canal town, complete with charming shops, beautiful gardens, fine dining, living history tours and historical exhibits. With the Frances B. Montgomery Memorial Garden for your ceremony and The Lock Landing for your reception, Roscoe Village serves as a beautiful and one-of-a-kind wedding and reception venue. In this Bridal Guide you will find information on pricing and the rules and regulations we have set as well as what you agree to when booking with us. The Frances B. Montgomery Memorial Garden e s t. 1 9 9 2 The Frances B. Montgomery Memorial Garden was dedicated to honor Mrs. Montgomery and her passion for gardening. Renters are responsible for securing their own chair rental, sound system and backup indoor space for inclement weather. Weighted tents permitted in grass area only - please be sure to keep them off the flower gardens - NO tents with stakes. Non-biodegradable materials (such as silk flowers) and rice are not permitted. There is limited space for the bridal party to dress and prepare. There is no way to control traffic noise during the ceremony. Rehearsal time for the garden must also be booked through Roscoe Village. Guests are not permitted to park in roundabout by the back door prior to 5pm. Roscoe Village is not responsible for any personal items left unattended.

The Lock Landing e s t. 2 0 1 6 The Lock Landing is the newest addition to the Roscoe Village Foundation Visitor Center. With tables and chairs provided, the room also offers space for banquet tables, live entertainment, disc jockeys, and even dancing! The Lock Landing Rental Policy RESERVATION AND PAYMENT POLICY Rental fee is $50 per hour (maximum of $500 for a full day of ten hours) Renter is responsible for any and all sales transactions, tax liabilities, and warranties associated with the event. An advance booking and rental deposit are required. A 50% rental deposit is required. Rental deposit is payable by cash, check or credit card (Visa/MasterCard/Discover) at time of booking, unless prior arrangements are made. The balance is due 30 days prior to the event. If the booking is made within 30 days of the event, the entire amount is due at time of booking. All prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Regular weekly Renters will be invoiced at the end of each month with the balance due in 14 days. RVF reserves the right to cancel an event using its facility for any reason RVF deems appropriate in its absolute discretion including but not limited to a use inconsistent with the Renter s application, a use which presents a risk of violence or harm to persons or property, a use promoting intolerance, bigotry or racism or a use inconsistent with the policies and goals of the Roscoe Village Foundation. ACCESS AND TIMING Full day access ($500) grants access for a ten (10) hour period between the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm. Prior to the start of the event RVF will set up all RVF tables and chairs as previously arranged with the Renter. Event hours must include time needed by Renter and/or Renter s designee to set up and clean up the event space. This includes Renter s own audio visual setup, distribution of materials or items, event registration, decorating, catering, and any other related functions that require Renter time to administer. Refunds will not be made for events that run shorter than the contracted time. All set-up details must be confirmed by Renter to RVF in the Set-Up Diagram at least ten (10) business days prior to the event. CANCELLATION POLICIES Renter must provide written or e-mailed notification of cancellation to RVF. Regular weekly Renters must give a 3 week minimum notice if they will not be holding their event on a reserved date. Otherwise they may be charged a minimum fee of $50.00. In the event of inclement weather no fee will be charged for a shorter notice. Refunds are prorated based on timing of cancellation: >30 days prior to the rental date = 50% refund < 30 days prior to the rental date = No refund

Rental Policy Continued CATERING RVF does not provide food or beverage services. RVF does not provide a kitchen. Cooking on premises is not permitted unless specifically designated in the rental agreement. Renter may arrange for a caterer or provide their own food and beverages for said event. RVF reserves the right to refuse caterers for any reason whatsoever. Food or drinks are only permitted in The Lock Landing, Memorial Garden, Picnic Shelter/Patio, and/or other area(s) specifically designated in the rental agreement. Renter and caterer assume full responsibility and liability for illness, injury, or damages resulting from the service of food and beverages. EQUIPMENT Per availability, RVF will provide Renter certain equipment from current inventory, including a designated quantity of tables and chairs, as part of the rental agreement. Renter is responsible for rental and transportation of additional chairs and tables. Rental fee does not include tenting, table linens, or transportation. Table linens may be rented from an approved supplier. RENTAL HOURS: Rental hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., which include setup and cleanup. Time beyond the agreed upon rental hours will be charged an additional $50 per hour. PARKING: Free parking is available in the Visitor Center parking lot on a first come, first serve basis. The circular drive behind the Visitor Center is reserved for passenger and equipment drop-off and collection. Parking is not permitted in the circular drive to maintain handicap access and for the convenience of other guests, retainers, associates, etc. Renter may coordinate valet parking for said event. Renter is solely responsible for contracting valet parking services, all related costs, and any and all personal injury and property damage that occur as a result of valet parking services. ENTERTAINMENT Musical groups or disc jockeys may perform in the area if space allows. Electronic and amplified music are permitted per the approval of RVF. Respectful content and moderate volume levels must be maintained to respect other guests, associates, retainers, and the village writ large. Renter is responsible for observing local noise ordinances. Doors to the Lock Landing should be closed during the event.

Rental Policy Continued SAFETY AND HEALTH Smoking and use of controlled substances are not permitted in the facility. Open flames are not permitted. Enclosed votive, tea lights, floating candles, and chafing dishes are acceptable. Pillar or taper flame candles must be enclosed by hurricane glass or other approved enclosures. The use of sparklers, fireworks or pyrotechnics inside or outside of the building is prohibited. Hazardous chemicals and materials are prohibited. DECORATIONS Decorations must be approved by RVF prior to installation. The use of pins, tacks, nails or other puncturing devices are prohibited. Scotch, masking, duct tapes and glue are not allowed on any surface. All adhesives must be approved by RVF. Glitter, confetti, sand or any other substances that causes debris inside the facility or on the grounds are prohibited. Furniture or items belonging to RVF may not be removed from the room or handled without permission of RVF. Renter assumes liability for loss or damage to RVF property that results from use of the facility. Renter agrees to hold RVF harmless for loss or damage to Renter and assign s property and any or all persons attending the event. GAMBLING and GAMES OF CHANCE Renter must adhere to applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding gambling and games of chance and is solely responsible for any and all obligations and claims arising from such activities. ALCOHOL Alcohol may be served on premises. Renter is solely responsible for compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the service of alcohol. Renter assumes sole responsibility for any and all claims arising from consumption of alcohol by any and all persons. Renters serving alcohol (alcohol provided but not sold) or offering a no-host bar (alcohol sold on premises) must obtain at Renter s expense appropriate State of Ohio licensure and appropriate liability and property insurance that will remain in force throughout the time of the event. Per the discretion of RVF, Renter may be required to provide additional security at events where alcohol is provided or sold.

Rental Policy Continued EVENT SUPERVISION Renter must designate one person as Event Supervisor who will have final authority and responsibility for all decisions and will be on site throughout setup, the entire event, and cleanup after the event. The Event Supervisor must address all issues during the event, assure safe, responsible use of the facility, and return the facility in a condition comparable prior to use. Sufficient, competent adult and/or special supervision must be provided by Renter at the Renter s expense CONDITION AND CLEAN-UP Renter agrees to surrender the premises at the expiration of the facility s use in as good condition as it was at its commencement, reasonable use and wear and tear expected. Renter agrees not to use the premises in any manner, even for the purposes for which the facilities are rented, that will increase risks covered by insurance on the building, so as to increase the rate of insurance on the premises, or to cause cancellation of any insurance policy covering the building. RVF will make the space available for inspection by Renter prior to rental to assess condition. Renter is responsible for cleanup following the event. Cleanup must be concluded by the end of the contracted event time. If Renter has not cleaned and/or removed all trash and debris by the end of the contracted event time, RVF will charge Renter a Clean-up fee of $50 per man-hour required to clean and/or remove all trash and debris. Payment of the Clean-up fee is required within fourteen (14) days of Renter s receipt of the RVF Clean-up invoice. All personal items, equipment and furnishings must be removed at the end of the rental period. Unless prior arrangements have been made and included in the event contract, Renter may be assessed a minimum $50 per day storage fee for items left at the end of the rental period. Found items will be held for up to fifteen (15) business days after the event. RVF is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items. During any event in The Lock Landing, the doors entering the building or event room cannot be left open for any reason provided. ADDITIONAL FEES Violation of these rules may result in a minimum assessment to the Renter of $250 and additional damage and/or cleaning fees.
