Please see Mrs. Anduss in the front office for more information regarding tuition or scholarship applications. Free & Reduced Meal applications can be filled out at any time during the school year. If you have had a change in income or did not fill out the application at the beginning of the year, it is not too late. To complete a Free & Reduced Meal application follow the link below; https://www.psdschools.org/programs-services/school -meals/free-and-reduced-meals If you need access to a computer, the front office is happy to set you up on a computer at Linton. Tis the Season of Giving and many families wonder what they can do for their student s teacher. A teacher s preferred gift is a handwritten note from your child. If you would like to purchase something for your student s teacher, you may make a direct donation to their classroom budget via School Pay or see Mrs. Anduss in the front office. We also have a book where teachers have listed some of their favorite items. The book is located on our parent table near the Media Center or ask in the front office. School of Choice is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. If you have already been accepted as School of Choice to Linton, you DO NOT need to complete a new application. If you have moved out of our boundary area and want to continue at Linton, you MUST complete an application. The School of Choice application is available online; http:// psdschoolchoiceapplication.com/site.php The deadline to complete a School of Choice application for the 2019-2020 school year is January 18 th, 2019 at 12:00 PM. Please see Mrs. Anduss in the front office if you have any questions.

Page 3 L I N T O N E l e m e n t a r y S c h o o l N e w s l e t t e r D E C E M B E R Snacks at School-Many of our grade levels ask that a snack be sent with your child. We encourage you to work with your child to select something healthy. The snack is needed to fill them up and keep them energized until lunch. Many kids are bringing items (maybe without your knowledge!) that will not do that.cookies, chips, candy, Takies, etc. Please consider talking to your children and discussing what could be better choices. Classroom Parties-A reminder that PSD has a Wellness Policy that encourages schools to provide a 50/50 balance of food at events and parties. This means we should have offerings that are more healthy, and offerings that are more treats. Many websites offer great ideas that are storebought, cute, and also on the healthier side.
