This guide describes how to manage your password settings, set your personal verification questions and change your password. The My Personal Verification Questions function is used to enter answers to questions that are personal to you to verify your identity if you have forgotten your password. If you have not set these personal verification questions, you will need to contact your company administrator to reset your password. Changing your password To change your password: 1. From the Investor Services Online main page, click on User ID Change Password. The Change My Password page appears (Figure 1). Hint This page also appears when you first log in to Investor Services Online. 2. In the Current Password field, enter your current password. Notice that the characters will be masked. 3. In the New Password field, enter your new password. Passwords must be a minimum of 8 to a maximum of 32 characters and contain at least one numeric character and one upper-case character. 4. In the Confirm New Password field, re-enter this new password. Note In order to protect your privacy while using Investor Services Online, remember to keep this password secure. 5. Click Save. 2. The My Personal Verification Questions page appears (Figure 2). 3. From the questions drop-down lists, select four questions for which you wish to enter your personalized answers. For example, from the first question field, select: What was the name of your first pet? 4. In the corresponding answer field, enter an answer personal to you. For example, enter: Puppy. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each personal verification question. 5. Click Save to save these answers. 6. These will enable you to request a new password directly from RBC Investor & Treasury Services by clicking Forgot Password? from the Login page (Figure 3).
