The Solution 7 RhodeWorks and RIDOT s Asset Management Plan RIDOT codified the Rhodeworks program through establishing a 10- year plan: 10-year TIP is the Department s new standard operating practice; Updated annually to ensure it stays current and data-driven. RIDOT s asset management planning process will help codify the process: Allows RIDOT to assess and forecast the deterioration of our assets; Adopt RhodeWorks as the Federally recognized plan to sustain our surface infrastructure.

The Solution 9 Asset Management Objectives and RhodeWorks are in sync 1. Deliver the Rhode Works initiative to achieve and sustain a state of good repair through an asset management approach; 2. Coordinate within and between divisions to manage assets through their lifecycle; 3. Develop personnel knowledge and skills to support asset management. 4. Develop asset inventories, decision support systems and train personnel to enhance asset management; 5. Continue to promote asset management principles through the RIDOT asset management plan.
