What is SWAP? Schroders Wealth Accumulation Programme (SWAP) is an actively managed approach to portfolio management, with an overall goal of capital preservation INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE Our objective is to construct portfolios of different risk levels with a medium- to long-term investment horizon and an emphasis on: Capital preservation INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY Superior risk-adjusted returns Reduce portfolio volatility Medium-to long-term horizon Our investment philosophy is based on fundamental analysis and predicated on a medium- to long-term view. Active risk management remains our anchor, and this is supported by intensive in-house research, an actively managed asset allocation approach and a structured investment process. Above all, we view the preservation of capital as paramount in our decision making and asset allocation process. OUR APPROACH We offer specialized, bespoke financial solutions to individuals, families and institutions. Our focus is on managing risk according to volatility targets. We regard cash as an allocation tool when managing risk. Adopting a flexible approach towards asset allocation means we are not constrained by benchmarks in managing portfolios. Our on-the-ground home advantage in Singapore is complemented by access to both the asset management capabilities of Schroders as well as integration within the Schroders Private Banking Group. 3

PRODUCT OFFERING Our discretionary portfolios are demarcated by different risk levels. Both the Conservative and Moderate Portfolios invest predominantly in mutual funds whereas the Dynamic portfolio focuses on Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs); the High Dividend portfolio focuses on global equities that generate high dividends; while the Asia portfolio invests directly in Asian equities. SWAP PORTFOLIO OFFERING RISK PROFILE Low-medium SWAP Conservative The SWAP Conservative portfolio has a low to medium risk profile and focuses primarily on interest income, supplemented by capital gains. SWAP Conservative has a volatility target of 5-7% p.a. Medium SWAP Moderate The SWAP Moderate portfolio has a medium risk profile with a strategy of balancing capital gains with interest income. SWAP Moderate has a volatility target of 7-9% p.a. SWAP Dynamic The SWAP Dynamic portfolio has a medium to high risk profile with a core strategy of investing in a balanced portfolio of equity and fixed income instruments complemented by tactical high conviction ideas. SWAP Dynamic has a volatility target of 10-12% p.a. Medium-high SWAP High Dividend The SWAP High Dividend portfolio has a medium to high risk profile with an overriding strategy of focusing on quality companies with a proven ability to consistently generate positive free cash flow together with a sustainable dividend growth policy. SWAP High Dividend has a volatility target of 10-17% p.a. High SWAP Asia The SWAP Asia portfolio has a high risk profile and the investment focus is on constructing a best-of-breed single stock portfolio covering Asia Pacific (ex. Japan) equities. SWAP Asia has a volatility target of 13-20% p.a. 6
