INTRODUCTION: ZONAL INSTITUTE OF EDUCATION & TRAINING BHUBANESWAR AGREEMENT FOR HIRING OF VEHICLES IN KVS, ZIET, BHUBANESWAR ANNEXURE: II The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, ZIET, is situated in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 4 Campus, Niladri Vihar, PO- Saileshree Vihar, Bhubaneswar. The Director means The Deputy Commissioner of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, ZIET Bhubaneswar. The term contractor means the firm who is awarded this contract by the Director for providing bus/ car services. Supply of Taxi and Bus hiring services: During training course, the bus is required to visit local sites like Science Centre, Institute of Physics etc. and also to visit PURI, KONARK and adjacent places. Cab/Taxi is required for the DIRECTOR, ZIET for the purpose of attending meetings & liasioning with different departments for various purposes. The interested Firm are required to furnish their rates by filling in the enclosed format as Annexure-4. Tender Documents duly completed in all respects with sealed cover is to be submitted in the office of the Director ZIET Bhubaneswar, C/0. Kendriya Vidyalaya No.4 Neeladri Vihar, C.S.Pur Bhubaneswar latest by 5.3.2018, 12.00 noon. TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. No compromise with the specification of the vehicle to be provided. 2. No change in the specific vehicle of goods to be provided without the prior approval of the Director. 3. The rates should be inclusive of all taxes and Toll Tax and Parking etc. 4. Payment will be made through cheque/ NEFT/ RTGS through bank only within 15 working days after submission of proper bill. TDS will be deducted as applicable. 5. The ZIET Bhubaneswar is now running at Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 4 Campus, Niladri Vihar, PO- Saileshree Vihar, Bhubaneswar. The Service provider has to provide the required vehicle at the ZIET office one hour before on the stipulated date and time of Journey. The requisition for vehicle will be intimated before 4 days for Bus and 1 day for Light Vehicle. The Bill for the vehicle must be submitted within 3 working days after completion of the journey. 6. On acceptance of the quotation it will become a contract and the contractor shall be bound by the terms and conditions of the contract. 7. The rates quoted by the contractor shall hold good up to one year from the date of award, which may be extendable for one more year with the consent of both parties, based on the outstanding performance of the work done in the first year of contract by the contractor. The Director, ZIET Bhubaneswar reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time without assigning any reasons thereof, if the services are found unsatisfactory and award the contract to the next successful bidder. 8.
