PART-II TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TENDER-CUM-AUCTION 1. The tenderer shall submit the tender in the prescribed form obtained from the institute. 2. The intending tenderer is required to pay an amount of ` 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) as EMD through Bank DD in favour of the, AIISH payable at Mysore along with tender form on or before 11.00 AM on 20.6.2016. 3. Last date for receipt of tenders is 22.6.2016 at 11.00 AM. Tender should be submitted in sealed cover and superscribed as Tender-Cum-Auction for Mobile Van, The tenders received after the prescribed date and time are liable to be rejected, Tender will be opened at 11.30 AM on 24.6.16 at the institute. 4. After opening the tender, there will be a Public Auction after 12.00 Noon on 24.6.16. The bidding would start at the highest tender amount and the vehicle will be sold to the bidder who offers highest bid in the auction on acceptance by the Competent Authority. 5. Tenders which do not fulfill all or any of the terms and conditions or are incomplete in any respects, are liable to be rejected. 6. Canvassing in connection with the tender/bid is strictly prohibited and the tenders/bids offered by the tenderer/bidders resorting to canvassing will be liable for rejection. 7. The vehicle will be disposed off to the highest bidder on AS IS WHERE IS CONDITION. The tenderer/bidder must satisfy himself about the condition of the vehicle before offering tender/bid. No complaint will be entertained in this behalf later. 8. The bidder has to remit at least 30 % of the value of the bid by cash immediately after the bid failing which the amount deposited will be forfeited and further, the bidder will be liable to make good the difference between the bid amount and the subsequent sale amount. 9. The vehicle shall be inspected during working hours of the Institute upto 10.30 AM on 17.6.2016. 4
Tenderer/Bidder 10. The successful bidder shall remove the vehicle from the premises, after making payment of the accepted bid amount in full, within one week from the date of bid with his own cost. Once the bid is accepted, the Institute will not be responsible for the safe custody of the vehicle. 11. Sales Tax, if any, to be paid, in addition to the bid amount, is to be borne by the bidder /purchaser and The successful bidder should take permission from concerned departments either state or central and furnish the same to the institute before removing/ transporting. Any lapse in this regard, the bidder will be solely responsible. 12. Vehicle original RC Book and Insurance has been surrendered to RTO office and vehicle can t be transferred to anyone. After taking the delivery of the vehicle the same should not be used on road (shall be used only as scarp). 13. The EMD of all the unsuccessful tenderers / bidders will be refunded. 14. The acceptance / rejection of a tender/bid rests with the, AIISH Mysore. The reserves the authority to reject the higher, any or all tenders/bid without assigning any reason thereof. 15 The successful bidder shall alone be responsible to pay all claims/ damages arising out of accidents or personal injuries etc., arising during removing/ transporting. The institute shall not be liable for any disability claims due to such accidents/ injury. 16. The decision of the, AIISH shall be final and binding on the interpretation of any clause/s of the terms and conditions. 17. In case of any dispute, the same will be subject to the jurisdiction of Law Courts in the city of Mysore. 18. The tenderer/bidder is deemed to have read and accepted all the terms and conditions mentioned above before offering his tender/bid. Tenderer/Bidder 5
