GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Quotation must be submitted in a single sealed cover at our Office. The envelope should be sealed and conspicuously marked as TENDER FOR EMPANELMENT OF VENDOR FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRING OF EXISTING OVERHEAD FIBER OPTICS CABLE IN BETWEEN STPI KOLKATA AND C-DAC, SALTLAKE. 2. All the documents/ enclosures etc. shall be dully signed with company stamp. The signatory to the bid shall be the Proprietor / Director / Authorized Signatory of the company. Without seal & sign of any document, the bid will be rejected. 3. In case the day of opening of quotations is declared as holiday the opening shall be held on the next working day at the same time. 4. STPI may extend the last date of submission of quotations or opening date of quotations as it may deem required for any administrative reasons. 5. This bid is not transferable. Unsigned and delay submission of bid will be rejected. 6. Bid shall be valid for three months from the last date of submission of Bid. 7. If any of the conditions of Bid are not fulfilled, such Bid/Bids will be summarily rejected outright and objections raised in this regards will not be entertained. 8. CONDITIONAL BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE REJECTED OUTRIGHT. 9. Payment shall be made 100% after completion of the work against invoice within 15 working days through NEFT. 10. CONTRACTUAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The selected vendor shall not further sub-contract whole or part of the assignment to any third party without the prior written permission of STPI-Kolkata. 2. The party must complete the job within stipulated time frame as in work order, failing to deliver the service within the mentioned period; the empaneled vendor will be treated as non-responsive for this requirement. 3. The items to be supplied shall be new of good quality and as per the standard specifications. 4. Replacement/ repairing of the faulty items during the annual maintenance period will be done by the vendor itself at its own cost. 5. Any damage/theft/loss etc. of goods during the work or physical injury to any labour shall be the responsibility of the vendor/ agency. 6. Failure at any segment of Last mile connecting STPI s customer s router/switch to STPI router/switch is the responsibility of vendor. 8. The rate quoted by the bidder shall be valid for a period of one year and no increase in rate shall be allowed during the period of contract. 9. Since there is no bid security/ EMD amount, any bidder who withdraws its bid after submission may face penalty in terms of denial of business relation for a period of two years starting from the date of opening of bids. The decision in this regard solely rests with Officer-In-Charge, STPI-Kolkata, which shall be binding. 10. The said service may be renewed further for a period of two years, one year at a time, deciding upon satisfactory services on same price, terms & conditions of the existing contract. 11. Any dispute arises shall be settled within the Jurisdiction of KOLKATA only 5
