Skye Bank Overview The Bank was established in 1990 as a Merchant Bank and converted into Commercial Banking in 2000. Its current form emerged following the series of efficient acquisitions and further consolidation in 2005-2006. Currently, Skye Bank is an International Bank focused on corporate & commercial business and is in the process of divesting its holdings in non-core banking subsidiaries. The Bank has a strong nationwide distribution which covers most cash-rich regions of Nigeria with strong shares in core markets. Market Leader in the area of revenue collection, both at the federal and state levels. Skye Bank has 249 business offices. Three (3) foreign subsidiaries in Sierra Leone, Gambia & Guinea. To support its business activities, Skye Bank has lines of credit with foreign correspondent banks. Strong e-channels capability via over 461 ATMs & E-Arcades in major business regions. Our Credit rating from GCR, Agusto & Co, S&P and DataPro are A-/BBB-/BBB/A- respectively. 4

Term Deposits contributed 47% of the deposits while Demand Deposits, Savings makes up and Domiciliary contributed 34%, 10.3% and 8.5% respectively. Domiciliary went up 35% from the N45.9bn in December 2011 to N61.9bn at the end of the first quarter. 12

New Loans Generated Building & Construction (B&C): New loans booked to the building and construction sector was N13bn in the first quarter. B&C accounts for over 15% of the loan portfolio. This sector is one of the Bank s identified growth sector with beneficial opportunities. Oil & Gas: The Oil & Gas upstream sub sector accounted for most of the growth in the oil and gas sector. Oil & Gas upstream currently stands at N70bn accounting for 64% of the total exposure to the oil & gas sector. Other sectors that experienced growth in business with the Bank include real estate and hospitality among others. 16
Developments in Risk Management In a bid to improve on the asset quality of the Group, integration of the lending platform of offshore subsidiaries has been completed with the following attendant benefits: A unified loan origination system group wide that is Basle II compliant and meets the basic tenets of our various credit policies.
