Using Junxure with TD Ameritrade Institutional s Veo Platform The following instructions will help you set up and begin using Junxure with Veo: 1. Enabling the Integration For Users 2. Using the Integration 3. Creating Junxure Actions from Veo Alerts Instructions are also available in this tutorial video. Requirements: An Internet connection Credentials to access Veo (The username and password used to access the Veo website) Junxure version 9.2 or higher Enabling the Integration For Users To use Junxure with Veo, you will need to enable the functionality available in the latest release of Junxure. Not sure how to upgrade? See Check for Updates for information on self-upgrading. To enable the integration: In Junxure, go to Maintain System > System Options > Local Options. Go to the Interface category. Next to Enable Veo Open Access Integration, select Enabled from the drop down menu in the Value column. Note: Each employee who needs access to data from this integration must enable this option in Local Options > Interfaces. Once the integration is enabled, open a contact record in Junxure. Click on the Accounts/Assets > Accounts tab. A Live Data column will appear next to the Account# column. 3
Customizing Your Screen: The grid on the Accounts/Assets > Accounts tab displays the Account#, Live Data, and Custodian columns to appear first by default. You may drag and drop these columns to customize your screen. You have successfully enabled your users to begin using the Junxure with TD Ameritrade Institutional s Veo Platform. Using the Integration Once employees have been enabled to view the Veo open access info, you may begin using the integration by opening a contact record and clicking on the Accounts/Assets > Accounts tab in Junxure. If a user has a Veo account number and has marked the Custodian field as Veo, TD Ameritrade Institutional, TD Waterhouse, or another TD Ameritrade entity, then the Live Data column will display the option to View. Clicking View on any available Veo or TD Ameritrade account will display the Enter Veo Credentials screen. Enter your Username and Password for Veo; you will only need to submit your credentials once per logged-in Junxure session. Click OK to continue. The Veo Open Access window launches. The Overview tab displays by default and gives a summary of the account information and preferences. 4
Clicking the Alerts tab will load alert data for this sub account. The grid will then populate with all alerts for the sub account. Note: The Refresh button at the top will download new data for the tab you are currently using. Select a tab (Overview, Alerts, Holdings, Transactions) and click Refresh to use this feature. All filtering and sorting is then handled by the grid controls and sort controls visible. Double click on any row in the grid to bring up the Alert Details window Clicking on the Holdings tab will return all positions. You may filter and sort data in the grid using the column header controls. 5
Clicking on the Transactions tab loads the transactions for the last four weeks by default. Use the date selector and Apply button to view historical transactions. You may filter and sort data in the grid using the column header controls. Double Click on any row in the grid to open the Transaction Details screen. Note: If there are no transactions during this time frame, you will see the following message. Click OK. 6
Creating Junxure Actions from Veo Alerts To create an Action from your alerts, click on the Alerts tab and choose a row from the grid. Click Add under the Junxure Action column. A separate window appears to create a single Junxure action or an Action Sequence. Complete the top portion of this screen including: Whether you would like to add an Action Template or Action Sequence Using the drop downs for the Action Templates or Action Sequence fields, if you would like to use an existing sequence or template The name of your sequence or template The Employee adding the action Keywords You may click Add Selected Action to Client if you would like to choose a client to add the action. After you have created an action from a Veo alert, you may return to that action from the View link on the alerts grid until that alert is archived or the action is deleted. The action now displays a Veo Open Access button on the Main sub-tab. (This is viewable by enrolled users only.) Note: For enrolled users, actions without a link to Veo Alerts will still display the View button above, however the functionality will be disabled.
