CIMB BANK BERHAD CIMB BANK KWIK ACCOUNT 07 MAY 2014 PRODUCT DISCLOSURE SHEET Read this Product Disclosure Sheet before you decide to take up the CIMB Bank Kwik Account. Be sure to also read the general terms and conditions. 1. What is this product about? CIMB Bank Kwik Account is an account that you can open online, anytime and anywhere without going into a branch, giving you immediate usage of the account. Once you have loaded funds into the account, it immediately allows you to send and receive money by keying in your friend s or family member s email address or mobile number (instead of account number), transfer funds within CIMB Bank, perform online and in-store purchases, pay bills, reload your mobile prepaid credit, make remittances and more. It also comes with a physical Kwik Card for in-store purchases at all domestic and worldwide MasterCard merchants as well as cash withdrawals via CIMB Bank ATM and other Bank s ATM with CIRRUS/PLUS Network. You can only own one (1) CIMB Bank Kwik Account at any point in time. 2. What do I get from this product and what are the limitations? In-store Purchase The Kwik Card can be used to pay for goods and services at MasterCard merchants domestically and worldwide. Online Purchases Perform online purchases with ease via the CIMB Bank Kwik Account. Note: Choose credit card as payment mode for transactions on third party websites. Fund Transfer You can transfer funds to any CIMB Bank account in Malaysia whether to your own or to any third party via CIMB Clicks by entering the recipient s account number. OctoSend You can also send money to your family and friends by keying in their email address or Malaysian mobile number. It allows you to transfer funds conveniently without the hassle of remembering account numbers. You will receive a Claim Code which needs to be shared with the recipient within 7 days. Recipient will need to key in the code to claim the money.
Pre-Authorisation Amount for Petrol Transactions at the Outdoor Pump (applicable to Kwik Card) A pre-authorisation amount of RM200 is charged to the CIMB Bank Kwik Account for petrol purchases at the outdoor pump in petrol stations. The pre-authorisation amount will then be reversed and the actual amount will be charged to your CIMB Bank Kwik Account upon settlement by the merchant within 3 days. Alternatively, you may opt to pay at the cashier to avoid the pre-authorisation holding amount. Internet Banking Enjoy easy management of your account through CIMB Clicks, mobile banking and also CIMB Clicks App. Users are also able to manage and view their accounts online, perform bill payments, prepaid reloads, remittances, fund transfers within CIMB Bank and many more. Various Channels to Add Money to your Kwik Account You can easily add money into your CIMB Bank Kwik Account from these channels Add Money Channels Transfer from CIMB Bank/CIMB Islamic Bank savings account or current account via CIMB Clicks CIMB Bank/CIMB Islamic Bank Cash Deposit Machine FPX via CIMB Clicks Inter Bank Giro (IBG) from another bank Note: When you perform an IBG transaction from another bank, you are required to choose credit card as payment mode Fees & Charges RM1.06 (Inclusive 6% Goods and Determined by the participating bank Cash Withdrawals You can withdraw cash at any CIMB Bank ATM terminals in Malaysia or other banks ATMs via CIRRUS/PLUS Network with your Kwik Card. Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) will be delivered to your mailing address via normal mail. Discounts & Privileges Enjoy exclusive discounts and privileges at selected merchant partners when you pay with your CIMB Bank Kwik Account/Kwik Card. To protect against fraud, you will receive an Authentication Code via SMS to authenticate your purchases made online. Wallet Limit The CIMB Bank Kwik Account has a maximum wallet limit of RM4,999 at any time. Daily Transaction Limit The maximum daily combined retail and cash transaction limit is RM4,999. 3. What are my obligations? Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years old. Applicants must own a Malaysia-registered mobile phone number and a mailing address in Malaysia. No proof of income is required. Customer must take all reasonable precautions to prevent loss or theft of the Kwik Card or CIMB Bank Kwik Account details. The customer shall notify CIMB Bank by telephone, fax or email immediately upon discovery of loss or theft and confirm the same in writing to CIMB Bank. 4. What will I need to register for this product? You do not have to present any physical documents. All you need to do is to register online via the CIMB Clicks website at www.cimbclicks.com.my or CIMB Clicks App. 5. What fees and charges do I have to pay? administrative cost of 1% plus any transaction fee charged by MasterCard International 6. What if I fail to fulfill my obligations? You are responsible for maintaining adequate security and control of your CIMB Clicks User ID, Internet Banking Password, TAC, PIN or any codes that you will use to access the Account and/or Kwik Card. In managing your Kwik Card, you must always exercise reasonable care in safeguarding your card from loss and theft. You must notify CIMB Bank immediately upon discovering that your card/account is lost or stolen or PIN number is compromised and follow up with a written confirmation together with a copy of your police report. You are fully liable for all unauthorised ATM and retail transactions resulting from the lost or stolen CIMB Bank Kwik Account/Kwik Card. We have the right to terminate your CIMB Bank Kwik Account if you fail to abide by the Terms and Conditions of CIMB Bank Kwik Account. 7. What are the major risks? You must notify us immediately after finding out that your Kwik Card is lost or stolen, or your CIMB Bank Kwik Account or PIN number or any codes, usernames and passwords have been compromised, or if you suspect that an unauthorised transaction has been conducted on your CIMB Bank Kwik Account/Kwik Card in order for us to block your account/card. 8. How can I get the replacement for the card? Replacement cards can be obtained upon request to the CIMB Bank Card Centre. There will be a replacement fee of for 1st time replacement and a RM53 fee (Inclusive of 6% Goods and for subsequent replacements. 9. What do I need to do if there are changes to my contact details? It is important that you inform us of any changes in your contact details to ensure that all correspondence reach you in a timely manner.
