Nifty And Small Showed Sign Of Profit Profit Booking On Thursday Monday, January 29, 2018 The Indian Benchmark Index Nifty has showed sign of profit booking on Thursday trade as the major player FII and PRO have squared of 194631 contracts and have carry forwarded only 82269 contracts for the next expiry The Index opened at 10883 and closed 11070 after making a high of 11110.The Index was up by 176 points or1.61%. The Cash Market Benchmark Index Small Cap has underperformed nifty and was down by 57 points or 0.61% on weekly basis. On Thursday IT, Chemicals and Auto Mobile & Auto parts were the sector which performed well. The stock which gained on Thursday from low are L&T TECHNOLOGY SERVICES (was up by 14.03%), CEREBRA INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES (was up by 5.55%) and INFINITE COMPUTER SOLUTIONS INDIA (was up by 3.91%).In chemical sector INDIA GLYCOLS and DEEPAK NITRITE was up by 7.54% and 3.79% respectively. In Auto Mobile & Auto parts the stocks which gained were MENON BEARINGS was up by 8.01% and RANE MADRAS was up by 6.78% Nifty Future is opening gap up by 10 points against yesterday s close 11105 as indicated by SGX Nifty which is currently trading at 11115.
