DATE: July 3, 2012 TO: FROM: Todd Coles, Committee of Adjustment Nadia Porukova, Development/Transportation Engineering MEETING DATE: July 12, 2012 OWNER: Golda Kass FILE(S): Minor Variance Application A197/12 Location: Proposal: Comments: Conditions: 93 Ramblewood Lane 1. Minimum northerly interior side yard setback to porch and stairs =0.21m 2. Where there is no garage the minimum sideyard=1.2m 3. Minimum rear yard setback to deck=4.83m Minimum rear yard setback to stair=4.19m 4. Maximum driveway width = 6.67m The Development/ Transportation Engineering Department requires a drainage swale to be maintained, which generally requires a 0.6m setback. However, site visit was conducted on June 18, 2012 and the porch and stairs have no negative impact on the drainage. In addition, a driveway widening existing and within the lot does not negatively affect the existing drainage. The applicant does not propose a new curb cut. Therefore are no existing boulevard items that are adversely impacted. Accordingly, the Development Transportation /Engineering Department has no objection to this application. None.
