TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PROMOTION Mega Start 3 Valid from 15 August 2018 1. The Promotion of Mega Start 3 ( Promotion ) is applicable in all transaction outlets registered by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. in Vietnam. 2. Eligible products during the promotion period: HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card HSBC Visa Cash Back Credit Card HSBC Visa Classic Credit Card issued by HSBC Bank (Vietnam) Ltd. ( HSBC ) in Vietnam ( Cards or HSBC Visa Credit Cards ). 3. Credit Cards which are not eligible to participate in this Promotion include: HSBC Premier MasterCard Credit Cards HSBC Business Credit Cards HSBC Staff Credit Cards 4. Promotion Period: from 15 August 2018 to 31 December 2018, both days inclusive ( Promotion Period ) 5. Offers for new HSBC Visa Credit Cardholders: 5.1. Offer 1: Customers who submit their new HSBC Visa credit card application and have their cards approved by HSBC no later than 05 January 2019 ( Eligible New Cardholders ) are eligible for Offer 1 as defined below: a. An eligible Primary Platinum Cardholder will be awarded: VND 2,000,000 cash back for customer with a total accumulative spend of at least VND 5,000,000 within 60 (sixty) days of the card issuance date. Transactions must be posted in HSBC systems no later than 05/12/2018 (Phase 1) or 05/03/2019 (Phase 2). b. An eligible Primary Cash Back / Classic Cardholder will be awarded: VND 1,000,000 cash back for customer with a total accumulative spend of at least VND 3,000,000 within 60 (sixty) days of the card issuance date. Transactions must be posted in HSBC systems no later than 05/12/2018 (Phase 1) or 05/03/2019 (Phase 2).

6. Offers for new and existing Platinum / Cash Back / Classic Credit Cardholders: 6.1 HSBC Credit Cardholders who make purchase transactions on their Cards during the Promotion Period and their transactions are posted to HSBC s systems no later than 05 January 2019 are eligible for Offer 2 as defined below. 6.2 Offer 2: Samsung 4K UHD QLED TV valued at VND 50 million a. An eligible Primary Platinum / Cash Back / Classic Cardholder will be awarded when meet all the following requirements: i. HSBC credit cardholder must send SMS and receive the reply from HSBC before making transactions. Register SMS by texting HSBC KM ID numbers / Passport numbers as registered with HSBC (Ex: HSBC KM 123456789) to 6089. ii. Be one of the Two Credit cardholders with the highest number transactions in the Month. (*) iii. no later than due date of each Month (details in article 6.2.e) iv. Transactions made to be eligible for Offer 2 at each Month must be posted in HSBC s systems and come from three (3) different merchant systems. ( * ) According to transaction time recorded by HSBC s system (details in article 6.2.e). b. There are total of two (2) Samsung 4K UHD QLED TVfor two (2) eligible cardholders who meet all the requirements each Month during the Promotion Period. If there is more than two (2) eligible cardholders in the same Month, the winner will be determined by the highest value of spending during that Month (details in article 6.2.e) c. The prize will be accumulated into the following month if no cardholder is eligible in the current Month.

d. The transaction date are based on Vietnam time GMT+7 (From 9AM on the first day of each Month) and HSBC s system, with the below time frame: OFFER 2 Phase 1 Phase 2 1 st Month 2 nd Month 3 rd Month 4 th Month 5 th Month MONTH From 15/08 to 31/08/2018 no later than 05/09/2018 From 01/09 to 30/09/2018 no later than 05/10/2018 From 01/10 to 31/10/2018 no later than 05/11/2018 From 01/11 to 30/11/2018 no later than 05/12/2018 From 01/12 to 31/12/2018 no later than 05/01/2019 e. There are 10 Samsung 4K UHD QLED TVwith 2 phases of prize delivery (details in article 7.3). f. Each winner may only be rewarded once only in Offer 2 (QLED UHD 4K Samsung Smart TV) during the Promotion Period irrespective of whether he/she qualifies more than once in each promotion phase. 7. HSBC announce on website no later than The timing of Cash Back reward/ The timing of reward no later than - - 05/12/2018 28/02/2019 19/01/2019 05/05/2019 05/12 05/01/2019 01/03 31/03/2019 7.4 HSBC is responsible for announcing the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion and the information of the qualified cardholders of Offer 2 (including full names, the last four digits of their primary credit card numbers) on HSBC s public website (www.hsbc.com.vn). 7.5 HSBC will notify the winners via phone or post (as registered with HSBC) with instructions to collect the prizes. HSBC accepts no liability for undelivered notices due to incorrect phone number/ correspondent address provided by customers, or if mail is lost or damaged. 7.6 The winners receive their prizes as below: a. For cash back offer (Offer 1): The cash back amounts for eligible cardholders will be credited to the credit card accounts of the eligible primary cardholders. The Cash Back amount will be shown on the eligible cardholders credit card bank statements of the following cycle after HSBC completes the reward process. b. Samsung 4K UHD QLED TV(Offer 2): i. HSBC will send the notification for each winner via phone or post. ii. iii. The Cardholder who is eligible for Samsung 4K UHD QLED TVmust collect the prize at one of the following HSBC branches: Ho Chi Minh City Branch: Ground Floor, the Metropolitan Building, 235 Dong Khoi Street, District 1. Ha Noi Branch: Ground Floor, the Pacific Place, 83B Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District. In case, correspondent address in HSBC system provided by customers is not Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi, HSBC will send Reward Notification Letter via post. Surcharge from delivery and installation may apply. c. Cardholders are required to present their original identification card or passport and their credit card for verification by HSBC. If the winner authorizes another person to collect their prize, the authorized person must present the original Reward Notification Letter (if any), his/her original identification card or passport, the certified copy of the winner s identification/passport and an authorization letter certified by a local authority.

8. General Terms d. After the prize delivery deadline (details in article 7.3), winners who reject or have not collected their prizes will forfeit their prizes. 8.1 HSBC reserves the right to reject any credit card application form that is illegible, unclear, incomplete and/or not accompanied by supporting documents. 8.2 To identify eligible transactions, HSBC will consider the transaction date and posted date as recorded by HSBC s system and shown on credit card statements of cardholders. Note: A successful transaction confirmation message does not confirm that transaction has been recorded in HSBC s system. 8.3 Eligible purchase transactions do not include credit card activation and cash advance transactions, including, but not limited to, cash advance transactions at counters / ATMs / POS and other cash advance transactions, HSBC fee-related transactions and monthly instalment repayments, gambling-related transactions and e-wallets charging by credit. 8.4 Eligible transactions must be made by Primary Cardholders and Supplementary Cardholders (if any), and must be authentic for genuine personal purposes and allowed by Vietnamese Law. Offers only award to Primary Cardholders. 8.5 Any transaction deemed to be suspicious or ineligible based on transaction time, location or other factors will be deducted from the total eligible purchase amount. HSBC reserves the right to request customers to provide the financial invoice and supporting documents/information to prove that the transaction is eligible. In case the customer does not or fails to prove that the transaction is eligible, HSBC reserves the right to deduct his/her transactions from the value of eligible purchase transactions during the Promotion Period. 8.6 Any disputed, cancelled and/or reversed transaction amount which is recorded in the cardholder s credit card statement during the Promotion Period will be deducted from the total eligible spend. 8.7 Cardholders may check their transactions posted in their credit card account via HSBC Internet Banking service or contact HSBC s hotline on (84 28) 37 247 247 (South Vietnam) or (84 24) 62 707 707 (North Vietnam). 8.8 If after a winner receives his/her prize and his/her eligible purchase transactions are cancelled or reversed, HSBC reserves the right to deduct the prize value from the primary cardholder s credit card account. The transaction will be shown on the credit card bank statement of the primary cardholder. 8.9 The Offer 1 is not applicable for the customers who have applied the new Credit Card within 6 months from the cancellation date of the old Card. 8.10 A credit cardholder will be disqualified if he/she performs or is subject to the following at the time of the promotion result announcement: i. Submits a card cancellation request or has cancelled his/her credit card; or ii. Has his/her HSBC Credit Card cancelled by HSBC; or

iii. Are late paying any bank fees, or do not pay at least the minimum payment due as shown on their statements; or iv. Are delinquent on any of their products with HSBC. 8.11 Customers may visit HSBC website at www.hsbc.com.vn for further details of the Promotion, contact HSBC s hotline on (84) 28 37 247 247 (South Vietnam) or (84) 24 62 707 707 (North Vietnam). 8.12 If the Cardholders have questions relating to the process or results of the promotion, they must inform HSBC before 05/06/2019 (Offer 1) or 30/04/2019 (Offer 2) after the winners are awarded. After this deadline, HSBC will not respond to any of their inquiries and/or questions. 8.13 Cardholders will bear all costs incurred from the receipt of their prizes (if any). 8.14 With the cardholders consent, the Bank will pay the ad hoc Personal Income Tax (if any) for the prize value on behalf of each cardholder as stipulated by law; cardholders are not required to reimburse this tax amount to HSBC. 8.15 HSBC reserves the right to revert the cash back value from the primary cardholder s credit card account if cardholders was participated to another credit card promotion program in same promotion period. 8.16 By participating in this Promotion, cardholders accept that HSBC reserves the right to publish or display the name and picture of the cardholders in announcements and advertisements in newspapers and other media without paying any fees to the cardholders. 8.17 After collecting their prizes, issues arising in the course of usage, maintenance, warranty of products of this Promotion will be subjected in accordance with the general policy of the related manufacturers / suppliers. Cardholders must contact the manufacturers / suppliers of the products and services directly if they have any inquiries or problems related to the product and services and the use of the vouchers. In case the solution provided by the manufacturers / suppliers creates discrimination between the winners of Offer 2 and other customers, cardholders can submit complaints to HSBC for assistance. 8.18 In case of any dispute related to this Promotion, HSBC shall resolve disputes in cooperation with the customer. If the parties fail to reach an agreement, disputes will be resolved in accordance with Vietnamese laws. 8.19 Standard Terms and Conditions and eligibility requirements of Credit Card in accordance with HSBC s policy shall be applied in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions of this Promotion. 8.20 These Terms & Conditions are made in both English and Vietnamese. In case of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English version and Vietnamese version, the Vietnamese version shall prevail.
