DTE Energy retirees: Welcome to PayFlex You are enrolled in a Retiree Reimbursement Account (RRA). Your new RRA comes with some great tools to help you manage your account. Through the PayFlex member website, you can: Submit claims for reimbursement or pay your provider directly from your RRA View your account balance, claim history, payments and deposits Sign up for a variety of account notifications View a list of common eligible health care expenses, frequently asked questions and educational materials Download commonly used forms, such as claim or direct deposit forms Use your RRA to: Pay for eligible health care expenses with cash, check or personal credit card. Submit a claim to PayFlex for reimbursement. Pay your provider directly from your RRA using the online tool Pay Them View your account balance, claims and payments: Finding information about your RRA is easy. First, log onto the RHA website at www.rhaexchange.com/dte. Click the PayFlex icon to get to the PayFlex member website. On My Dashboard, you ll see your RRA balance. To view your claims or payments, click on the Financial Center tab. Looking for other information? The Financial Center tab has information about your claims and payments. Select your Retiree Reimbursement Account from the drop down menu next to Select Account directly under the Financial Center tab. Here, you can: View all of your claims by selecting Claims View all of your payments by selecting Transactions If you have any questions, call PayFlex directly at 1-855-652-0112 (TTY: 711). PayFlex is available to answer your calls Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. Stay informed with notifications You can sign up for notices about your RRA balance or explanations of payment and claim through email, text message or web alert. To sign up: Log onto the RHA website at www.rhaexchange.com/dte Click on the PayFlex icon to get to the PayFlex member website Click on My Settings at the top of the page and select the notifications link Enter your email address and select the notifications you wish to receive Click Submit Sincerely,

Frequently Asked Questions about Retiree Reimbursement Accounts (RRA) Who do I contact if I have questions? After your RRA has been set up with PayFlex, you can call PayFlex directly at 1-855-652-0112, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. Do I need to do anything to sign up for the RRA? No. You re automatically enrolled in the RRA. If you want to use the online tools, you can visit the Retiree Health Access (RHA) website at www.rhaexchange.com/dte. Once you are logged in, you ll click on the PayFlex icon to get to the PayFlex member website. On this site, you can view your balance, claim history and payments. You can also submit claims to pay yourself back or pay your provider directly from your RRA. Can my RRA claim reimbursements be deposited directly into my bank account? To have your RRA claim reimbursements deposited directly into your bank account, you ll need to enroll in direct deposit at PayFlex. To enroll in direct deposit: Log onto the RHA website at www.rhaexchange.com/dte and click the PayFlex icon to get to the PayFlex member website On My Dashboard, click on the Financial Center tab at the top of the page Click on Enroll in Direct Deposit on the left side of the screen Select the bank account type. Enter your account number, routing number and bank name. Click Next Review your account information. If the information is correct, click Confirm. If you need to make a change, click Previous. How do I file a claim using "Pay Me" or "Pay Them"? If you don't have Internet access refer to contact information on the claim form to submit a claim. If you have Internet access log onto the RHA website at www.rhaexchange.com/dte and click the PayFlex icon to get to the PayFlex member website. Under Quick Links, click on File a Spending Account Claim. To get reimbursed for your eligible out-ofpocket expense(s), select Pay Me. To pay your health care provider directly from your RRA, select Pay Them. If you select Pay Me: Enter your claim information. To add additional claims, select Add Another Claim Once you enter in all of your claims, click Next Confirm all expense details, and click Next To make changes, click Previous (continued)

Select Fax or Upload. To Fax, click on Create Coversheet. Print and sign the form. Fax it with your documentation to the number on the cover sheet. To Upload, use the Browse button. Select your documentation from your computer. To add additional documents, click on Add Additional Document. Note: Each document must be uploaded in PDF format. Check the signature box at the bottom of the page to electronically sign your claim and confirm your submission is for eligible expenses. Click Submit. Sign up for the Explanation of Payment notification through My Settings to receive an email when your claim has been processed. If you select Pay Them: Select your payee from the drop-down menu and click Next. To add a new payee, click on the + symbol. If you add a new payee, complete all the required fields. Click Save, then click Next. Enter your contact number, statement date and invoice number (if applicable); patient name; and any comments you may have. Click Next. Fill in your claim information and click Next Verify that your claim information is correct. Click Next. Select Fax or Upload To Fax, click on Create Coversheet. Print and sign the form. Fax it with your documentation to the number on the cover sheet. Note: Each document must be uploaded in PDF format. Check the signature box at the bottom of the page to electronically sign your claim and confirm your submission is for eligible expenses. Click Submit. Sign up for the Explanation of Payment notification through My Settings to receive an email when your claim has been processed How do I sign up for Automatic Reimbursement for insurance premiums? In order to be automatically reimbursed each month for your insurance premium including your Medicare part B premium, you ll need to complete the Retiree Reimbursement Arrangement (RRA) Reoccurring Premium Reimbursement Claim Form and send it back to PayFlex. You can access the form online: Log in to the RHA website at www.rhaexchange.com/dte and click the PayFlex icon to get to the PayFlex member website On My Dashboard, at the top of the screen, click on Resource Center Under Administrative Forms, select Reimbursement Account Forms. Then click on Health Reimbursement/Retiree Reimbursement Arrangement Recurring Premium Claim Form You ll need to include a copy of the supporting documentation along with the completed claim form. Supporting documentation needs to include the covered individual s name, insurance carrier s name, type of coverage, dates of coverage, and monthly premium amount. To Upload, use the Browse button. Select your documentation from your computer. To add additional documents, click on Add Additional Document.

Will I receive statements? Yes, you will receive statements quarterly. If we have your email address, statements will be sent to you via email. Otherwise, statements will be mailed to you. In addition, you can always go online to the PayFlex website or call PayFlex at 1-855-652-0112 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET to get your account balance, claim and payment information. How long does it take to be reimbursed from the time I submit my claim? It can take up to five business days to be reimbursed for your submitted claim. How will I know when my claim has been paid? You ll receive an Explanation of Payment once the payment has been made. This will be sent by mail if you don t sign up to receive notifications by email through the PayFlex member website. You can also check your online claim activity in the Financial Center to confirm a claim has been processed. If the claim is approved, PayFlex will display an amount in the Amount Paid to Date field. If the claim is denied, PayFlex will display an amount in the Denied Amount field. Please note that both the Amount Paid To Date and Denied Amount fields can display an amount if the claim was partially approved and partially denied. Or you can call PayFlex directly at 1-855-652-0112 (TTY: 711), Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET, and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET to get the status of your claim.
