Loan Products Module Unlimited number of products User defined conventional products Different types of conventional products (user defined) Islamic products (Murabaha, Ejara, Estesna'a, Mudarabeh, Musharakeh, Salam) Individual and group products Product can be deactivated to stop dealing with it Automatic loan cycles per product Different product specifications per loan cycle User defined product parameters (min - max loan amount, product period, grace period, interest, fees, penalties, security deposit) Some product parameters can be hidden by level of administration Pre-defined charges can be part of product definitions like ad-hoc fee/penalty charges Security deposit -- ability to define certain amount or percentage of the loan in the loan product definition, such mount can be collected upfront and deposited it to security deposit account before the loan can be disbursed. This amount cannot be withdrawn during the life cycle of the loan. The deposit is returned at the end of the loan (or used for next loan). such process can be automatic by the system Handle solidarity group loans where loans are given to individuals within a group and the group is collectively responsible for the loans. Each member within the group can receive a different amount. Group members may leave at the end of a cycle and new members may join in their place. Interest to be defined in the loan product which be calculates loan interest accumulated or accrued to date Interest calculation to be posted to general ledger Ability to define exceptional products 5

Loan Products Module Ability to define parameters for each exceptional product (same parameters used for defining normal products) Printing the following reports: - Product listing report - Exceptional products report Loan Application And Approval Module Ability to alert user if there is running loan for the application or another application with ability to continue application with some users conditions Ability to insert region, area, sector, sub-sector, career,..etc Ability to choose the product with its parameter by user (or exceptional product) Ability to define the group application and then building the applications for each member of the group automatically Ability to track refinanced application Guarantor's database Tracking guarantors, application can has multi guarantors, guarantor can be for multi clients, and guarantor can be a client Generating and printing all documents needed for the loan like loan/guarantor/collateral contracts, client cards and promissory notes Ability to display all needed information of the client to facilitate granting loan Ability to check the loan from sharing information system to help on granting loan decision Credit risk table to compare with client information to facilitate granting loan decision Tracking collateral tracking, if the client submits certain collateral as guarantee Tracking each collateral item like collateral type, expiry date, value, description Guarantors database 6

Loan Application And Approval Module Tracking guarantors, application can has multi guarantors, guarantor can be for multi clients, and guarantor can be a client Ability to print all needed guarantor contracts Ability to view past and current credit deposit /other history for all accounts of the client to help make credit decisions Disbursement of loans on the approved amount in spite of the amount requested by the client Ability to build credit risk tables for certain products to facilitate risk decision Approval will follow the workflow of the level of approvals as per product definition Waiting time can be defined for each level of approval based on the workflow Ability to print the following reports: -Loan status report -Approval list -Loan application report -Workflow process in details (the decision of each user in the workflow) -Refinance applications -Pre- printed cards Loan Process Workf low Module Complete workflow of loan process with pre-defined steps and who can do such step Tracking of the loan process - applied, approved - disbursed, closed Multiple level of approval per step of the loan process Tracking of users actions during all steps of the loan process 7

Loan Transactions Module Ability to print the following reports : -Repayment report (Detailed or summary on group or member level) -Principle outstanding by share amount -Reconciliation Report (Detailed or summary on group or member level) -Installment/Payment due report -Written Off Repayment Report -Loan Schedule /Loan Repayment Report -Repayment report (on time) -Dummy Transactions Report -Switch Payment Report -Advance Payments (Summary and Details) -Reverse Payments Delinquency Management, Write Off, PAR And Provision Module Late payment handling per product (Penalty fees for late payments, % of overdue principal, % of installments or flat amount) penalty grace period, maximum number of days for applying penalty Ability to permit the suspension, reduction or waiving the penalty fees in a case by case basis with the reason of this process Rescheduling loans with the ability to track the rescheduling portfolio Historical data before rescheduling the previous schedule retained on the system as a reference for any future use Mandatory rescheduling reasons User can choose in rescheduling process many options: write off accumulated penalties and interest, roll it up into the principal amount, carry it forward Write off loans as per the institution policies Write off on member level in group loans (not the group level) 11

Delinquency Management, Write Off, PAR And Provision Module User defined portfolio aging categories to calculate PAR as per the category, loan loss percentages for each category can be specified which are used to estimate loan loss reserve PAR can be calculated per branch and consolidated to the whole institution PAR can be sorted, summarized or restricted by user-definable socio-economic indicators such as sex, age, occupation and house type, client with more than one loan..etc.. (or any other indicator within the system) Loan loss provisions are calculated based on the PAR aging brackets with user defined percentages which can be updated PAR is calculated based on the total outstanding principal amount for the loans at risk In the aging report the whole group is marked as delinquent even if one member only is delinquent Parameterized the percentage of loan loss provision for rescheduling loans percentage may vary for reschedule Ability to run the following reports : -Penalty Analysis report (Summary or Detailed) -Aging report ( Summary or Detailed) -Write off report ( Summary or Detailed) -The written off loans report ( Detailed for each Loan) -Delinquency report -Loan Loss Reserve Report -Loan Penalty 12
