The group will visit the Canadian Embassy office building, a residential high rise flat, a public sports facility, and a commercial building. SCA is negotiating to increase the number of delegates on the study tour to participate in the overall program, however building site tours are definitely limited to 30 due to Japanese security restrictions. International Tour Tokyo 2019 Terms and Conditions Delegate Type: The International Study Tour is exclusively to SCA Members who hold the position of General Manager, CEO, Director or Principals of a Strata Management Company. Strata Services (Suppliers) Members, who are not a National Partner and non-members are not able to register for the International Tour. Delegates must be employed by a body corporate management firm that holds membership with any of the Strata Community Association affiliates and chapters. Limitation of Delegate registrations per firm: The International Tour delegation is capped at twenty (20) registrations. Each body corporate management firm can register one (1) delegate and express interest in registering a second person at the time of registration. Five (5) weeks prior to the event, and subject to availability, registration becomes available for up to two (2) delegates per body corporate management firm. SCA will advise the firms of the outcome of the expression of interest. Close of registration: Registrations close on the 15 December 2018. Cancellation policy and transfers: - Before 15 December 2018, 100% refund - Between 16 December 2018 and 17 January 2019, 75% refund - After 18 January 2019, 100% cancellation fees applies. Transfers will be accepted up to one (1) week prior to the International Tour commencement and are subject to the outlined Delegate Type criteria. Please note the site tour to Canadian Embassy has strict restrictions for security purpose and they will need a complete list of all participants names submitted by 4 February 2019, so any delegate changes after this date won t be able to join this site tour. All cancelations and transfers will incur an administration fee of $50 and must be received in writing to SCA by emailing marketing@strata.community. Privacy: The Information Privacy Act 2009 provides that, before your name and contact information can be published on the International Tour list, for distribution to fellow delegates or any other party, you must give your consent. If you DO NOT wish to have your name, address and details included in the list of delegates please indicate by emailing marketing@strata.community. SCA takes reasonable steps to ensure your personal information is not exposed to misuse, loss or unauthorised access. At any event held by SCA, your image may be photographed or filmed at any time throughout the event. We may use, publish or reproduce your image or recording of you in any form of published communication material to promote our services and to report on its events through its publications and resource material such as our Annual Report, Inside Strata magazine, e-bulletins, website and direct email campaigns etc. Your consent to the use of your image in full or part for any SCA related purpose is taken to be given by attending this event. Should you not wish to have your image photographed or filmed, please contact us on marketing@strata.community to advise that you do not wish to be photographed or filmed. Program disclaimer: Where a program has been released, SCA reserves the right to alter, amend, vary or otherwise change the program at any time as circumstances dictate without further notice to registered delegates. Every effort will be made to provide a program of equivalent standard and value. Insurance disclaimer: Registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that at the time you register for the International Tour and book your travel you take out an insurance policy of your choice. The policy should include (1) loss of fees/deposit through cancellation of your participation in the International Tour; (2) loss through cancellation of the International Tour; (3) loss of international/domestic air fares through cancellation for any reason including force majeure, medical expenses, loss or damage to person or property, additional expenses; and (4) repatriation should travel arrangements have to be altered. SCA cannot take any responsibility for any participant failing to arrange his or her own insurance. SCA does not provide insurance coverage for any accidental injuries, loss or damage for delegates at the events. Force Majeure: Where there is an agreement between SCA and a Sponsor or registrant, it is automatically null and void if any events offered are cancelled due to an act of God including, but not limited to, hurricane, earthquake, flood, volcanic eruption, tornado, famine, terrorism, or war. In the event of cancellation due to an act of God neither party shall be liable for any further payments.
