Deloitte speakers Wong King Yu Audit Partner, Audit & Assurance King Yu has over 19 years of experience in public accounting practice, specialising in audit, tax and business advisory services. Based in Kuching, he has extensive working experiences in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and London serving international and local clients. Julie Tan Executive Director Julie has over 13 years of experience in taxation services in corporate tax advisory and compliance services. She has served clients, both listed and privately owned in a wide range of business sectors. She has also undertaken many assignments in relation to local and overseas transactions including advising on cross border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, incentives, and tax compliance matters. Julie is a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. Joshua Voon Associate Director Joshua has over 9 years of experience in audit and taxation services specialising in corporate tax compliance and local tax advisory. He has served clients, both listed and privately owned in a range of business sectors including agriculture, biotechnology, power generation, manufacturing and consumer products companies. He has successfully assisted numerous clients with their tax planning and applications for tax incentives and grants and has also undertaken many assignments in relation to tax advisory services in respect of local and overseas companies. Currently, he is involved in assisting clients with GST advisory and implementation. Joshua graduated with a Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland. He is also a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia. Cheong Yit Hui Tax Manager Cheong Yit Hui, Manager of Deloitte Malaysia s tax practice, has over 5 years of experience in handling Malaysian corporate and personal taxation, tax audit and investigation, and application of tax incentives for companies. She has served clients in various business sectors including agriculture, manufacturing, trading, construction, investment holding companies as well as financial institutions. She also handles payroll processing and personal tax compliance matters under the Global Employer Services (GES) service line.
