guide to using the enhanced reporting feature Use this document for assistance in using the Enhanced Reports feature under Reporting on the website. Getting started: 1 Log on to the website at axa.com/mrp, Employer Log-In 2 Click on Reporting tab 3 Click on blue box labeled Requests Reports Click on Reporting Tab Click on Request Reports
Choose a template report or create a custom report To get one of the Template Reports, click the Actions tab across from the report you would like to run and click Open. You can name Favorite reports by clicking on the X under the Favorites column and then click Favorites header to sort your favorite reports at the top of the list. You can get a description of each of the reports by putting your mouse over the name of the report. You can also create a custom report with multiple variables by clicking on the Create Custom Report button on the page. IMPORTANT NOTE: To get the report that provides YTD contributions by participant and contribution type, choose CONTRIBUTION REPORT BY PARTICIPANT and MONEY TYPE from the Report Template list. Narrowing the search criteria You have the option of narrowing the criteria by any of the items listed. If you do not need to narrow the search criteria, just click Continue to choose the date range for your report. Generally, you should not use the SAVE & RUN or RUN options on this screen unless you are running a SAVED REPORT and are using the same date range. Narrow the criteria by any of the items listed. 3
Transaction type and date range If you choose one of the template reports, other than the CONTRIBUTION SUMMARY BY PARTICIPANT and MONEY TYPE REPORT, then boxes of transaction types, if applicable, will appear and already be checked. If you selected a custom report you can check multiple boxes to have more than one transaction type included in your report. The default for the date range is the previous 30 days, but you can choose any of the other options, including entering your own custom date range. Once you have entered a date range, click the Run button to produce the report. If you would like to save this report so you can run it again and on a future visit to the site, you can click Save & Run. This is preselected based on the report type you selected on the first screen. The default is the past 30 days, but you can choose any of the other options, including choosing your own custom dates. 4
Reports After you run a report, and it appears on the screen, you have several options: You can download the report in multiple formats including PDF, Excel or CSV. You can also click on View and Transaction History Detail to get more details on each of the transactions listed by participant. At the next level you can get a report of the contributions by money type (e.g. Salary Deferral, Employer, etc.) or Vehicle (investment). Below are some examples of reports you can request, including the Participant Contribution Report, Participant Distribution Report, Participant Transaction History and Plan Payroll. Appendix A Contribution Summary by Participant & Money Type This report will provide you with a summary of contributions for each participant in the plan by money type based on payroll date, trade date or confirm date over the range of dates that you choose. Contribution History DATE TYPE: Payroll Date Use payroll date if you want the contributions summarized by the plan year for which they were remitted. For example, using payroll date with a date range of 01/01/2017 to April 30, 2017 will get you a report with all 2017 contributions made during this period. If you want a listing of 2016 contributions through April 30, 2017, you will make the date range 01/01/2016 to 04/30/2017. Trade Date Use Trade Date if you want a summary of contributions credited during the period chosen regardless for what plan year the contributions were remitted. Confirm Date Use Confirm Date if you want a summary of contributions confirmed during the period chosen regardless of plan year the contributions were remitted. This option is not a common choice. DATE RANGE The date range choices are last 7 days, last 30 days, last 90 days, Year to Date, Previous Year, Plan YTD, Custom. The only difference between Year to Date and Plan YTD is for plans that have off-calendar plan years. The maximum custom date range is two calendar years. 6
CONTRIBUTION SUMMARY: The Contribution Summary Report Will show the breakdown of the contributions for the date type and date range selected by PARTICIPANT and MONEY TYPE. You also have the option to view of listing of the transactions for each participant by date by clicking VIEW AND TRANSACTION HISTORY DETAIL.
