Online Training: Facilitated Courses Facilitated online courses offer you a virtual classroom environment with fellow students, instructor guidance and feedback. Experienced instructors provide feedback and industry context Exercises and exams to validate your understanding Flexible weekly schedule with no need to be online at a certain date or time What to Expect: Each week, the instructor posts a new assignment, which may include: Textbook or online readings Completing a short assignment and either sending it via email to your instructor or posting it on the electronic class Discussion Board Taking a self-check quiz to verify your understanding of the material Collaborative group projects using electronic discussion boards and email. Sixteen week courses include a week dedicated to the mid-term examination and the final examination. Courses less than 16 weeks typically include a final examination. Typically, each lesson will require 3-5 hours each week to complete. Self-Paced Courses Self-paced online courses can be completed in two to four hours, although actual time varies by title and the student s prior knowledge. Courses are taken on ABA Learning Management System, that allows students to access all readings and complete quizzes online and at their convenience.
