Topping up your Pension Additional Pension Contributions (APC s) APC s are used to purchase extra LGPS annual pension when you retire Tax relief on contributions These are paid through your salary monthly or as a one off payment You can increase your annual pension by up to 6,822 (this is index linked by CPI each April).
