LITIGATION Our Litigation and Dispute Resolution team is proficient in concluding early settlements and pre-litigation resolution of disputes and claims. We analyse and understand the weakness of our opponent and employ creative strategies based on our expert legal knowledge and procedural tactics to obtain optimal and favourable settlements. As the Litigation division, contrary to our name, our primary aim is to avoid litigation whenever possible. If litigation is inevitable, we excel at that too. We are recognized litigation and arbitration leaders in our market. We have been repeatedly named the UAE Dispute Resolution Law Firm of the Year. Our firm celebrates and values the external recognition we have received through these awards and accolades. The Litigation Team is headed by Senior Partner and Founder of The Legal Group, Mr Saif Al Shamsi. He has over 25 years of experience in practicing in the UAE. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY TLG s Intellectual Property (IP) Division maintains a dynamic and high-profile presence locally, regionally and beyond. Our IP office consists of an extensively experienced team of lawyers, IP professionals, commercial consultants, paralegals and market researchers, who are present on the ground in each of the countries we operate. TLG s intellectual property practice consists of a highly driven and experienced legal team that has been practicing in the region for over fourteen years. Our clients include American, European, Japanese, Italian, and Korean brand owners just to mention a few. We cover various industries not limited to, but including automobile, electronics, printing consumables, fashion industry and power tools just to name a few. Enforcement of IP Rights in the Middle East as well as Eastern European region. Inspect research and complaint filing on counterfeits activities. Follow up with customs and law enforcement agencies. Litigation of civil matters before the competent courts for compensation. Arbitration and mediation between parties on IP related disputes.
