Cox/ACE Limited Chair in Risk and Insurance The Peter J Tobin College of Business St. John s University Summary of Accomplishments As Chairperson of the School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science (from 2004 to 2007) led faculty and stakeholders, to develop the MS in Risk and Insurance. Publishes regularly both for academics and insurance managers. Frequently cited. Recognized twice for significant enhancements in the quality of insurance education from the American Risk and Insurance Association. Helps insurance managers make money, by working collaboratively with them, to address long-term capital-risk-value imbalances their insurance firms face. He has experience working with both small and large organizations (including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Swiss Re, MARSH, KPMG, A.M. Best. Recognized as expert resulting in invitations to serve on editorial boards and industry panels, to write questions for industry certification and to speak at industry events.
