The agreement has been extended by two years to 1 December 199. The restraint far one category, category, has been abolished. One new products category, category 70, netting and nets, has been covered and restrained at 240000 kg. The restraint has been agreed to avoid market disruption or risks thereof in Norway, while ensuring an orderly development of exports to Norway from the Philippines. Imports of category 70 products from Korea have developed as follows: 1989 0 kg 1990 72269 kg January - June 1990 0 kg January - June 1991 11908 kg 1 July 1990-0 June 1991 188177 kg The annual growth rate far netting and nets was agreed at 1 %. Swing is available at 1 %. carryover and carryforward are set at % and % respectively. AGREED MINUTES 1. Delegations from the Government of the Kingdom of Norway and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines met in Manila on 21-2 October 1991 for consultations in accordance with Articles 14 and 17 of the Agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Norway and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines relating to the exports from the Philippines of certain textile products for imports into Norway, signed at Manila on 21 September 1988. 2. As a result of these consultations it was agreed to initial the enclosed amendments to the Textile Agreement as previously amended. Manila, 2 October 1991 a MR. AMENDMENTS TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE KINGDOM OF NORWAY AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES RELATING TO THE EXPORTS FROM THE PHILIPPINES OF CERTAIN TEXTILE PRODUCTS FOR IMPORTS INTO NORWAY. SIGNED AT MANILA ON 21 SEPTEMBER 1988. I. The Government of the Kingdom of Norway and the Government of the Republic of the Philippines have agreed to the following amendments to the Textile Agreement: (i) in Article 2, after "as extended by the Protocol of 1.7.1986" add "and as further extended by the Protocol of 1.7.1991". (ii) Delete Article 7, paragraph (d) on total flexibility. (iii) in Article 16, seventh line, delete "1991" and replace it with "199". (iv) replace the existing Annex A on product coverage, with the attached Annex A. (v) replace the existing Annex B on restraints, with the attached Annex B. II. These amendments will take effect on 1 January 1992.
