SEEKING VOLUNTEERS As with all retiree and volunteer organizations, a time comes when other pressures limit your ability to properly serve a volunteer organization. The success of our organization from the beginning has come from the efforts of many and not just from the elected officials and/or chairpersons. We need your help in continuing the health of the P&G Mehoopany Retirees Organization. Do you know of any newer retirees who may be interested in joining our group or who may not be getting our newsletter or who want to become active in some phase of the group? If the answer is yes, or it you would like more information about what in involved in serving our retirees, please call one of the following on the nominating committee: C. D. We keep a separate mailing list for these people because they are not part of the P&G retirees list. Please remember to direct any address changes to the Employee Service Center in New Jersey at 1-888-627-7472, option 1. REMINDER: If a Retiree passes away, a family member (usually the spouse) must call the Employee Service Center to report the death. In the case of no spouse, another family member may call. When the call is made, the Retiree Life Insurance can be paid out. A death certificate is one piece of the documentation the ESC will need to be sent in. ESC: 888-627-7472, option 1. P&G MEHOOPANY 2019 ANNUAL CAMPAIGN Dear Procter & Gamble Family Member, The Mehoopany Plant has started our annual United Way Fund Drive for 2019 As you know, our company asks our employees to make a personal choice to give to the United Way, which is also supported by a corporate donation. There are many in our communities who are struggling to survive and thrive they rely on the support of the many agencies supported by the United Way that in turn rely on contributions from people such as the Procter & Gamble community, past and present. The number of problems facing our communities today poverty, homelessness, drugs, illiteracy, daycare issues and care of the elderly is even greater than ever. This is the Fifth year we are going to include Retirees in our P&G Mehoopany United Way campaign. In exchange for your generous donation, you can receive the same products and incentives given to active Mehoopany employees. AGAIN THIS YEAR: In addition to the inplant giveaway Retireees can also chose to receive their Shirt and Product Give-Away at the November Holiday Retiree Dinner. Product give away will be from 11am to 12:30 in the parking lot of the Shadowbrook. Drive up and P&G employees will place your product in your car.
