2015 BEERFEST RULES & REGULATIONS GENERAL INFO 1. CONFIRMATION Upon receipt of exhibitor contract and payment, a fully executed contract will be forwarded to the exhibitor. Checks must be made out to Pinnacle Bank Arena. Checks made out to anything other than this will not be honored and your booth space will not be reserved. 2. CANCELLATIONS There are no refunds for cancellations. Any exhibitor that does not comply fully with the attached Festival Policies and Regulations will immediately have their Exhibitor privileges cancelled 3. PROGRAM LISTING Upon receipt of your application and payment, we will contact you for program listing information on each product being exhibited. 4. INDEMNIFICATION Pinnacle Bank Arena, SMG, City of Lincoln, Joint Public Agency, its Officers and Directors, its Sponsors, and/or the host facility shall not be responsible for injury, loss, expense or damage to persons, goods, equipment or decorations, caused by accident, or any other cause, either directly or indirectly, during load in and load out preparations or during the Festival s scheduled duration. This applies to any injury, loss or damage to persons, goods, equipment or decorations which occurs during transportation of goods, and/or other cause beyond the control of the Management, who shall be in no way whatsoever liable. LOAD & STRIKE SCHEDULE SMG PRODUCT DELIVERY Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 3pm SET-UP COMPLETION Friday, May 1, 2015 from 8am - 5pm Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 8am - 2pm ALL VEHICLES MUST BE OFF-SITE BY 3PM. ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS. FESTIVAL HOURS OF OPERATION Saturday, May 2, 2015 5pm - 9pm STRIKE & TEARDOWN Saturday, May 2, 2015 from 9pm - 11pm *ALL TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE POLICIES AND PROCEDURES 1. No over-serving of alcohol will be tolerated under any circumstances. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in loss of exhibitor privileges 2. Only one sample cup per person is permitted - Exhibitors CANNOT pour product into more than one cup per person - this is strictly prohibited. 3. Exhibitors CANNOT be under the influence of alcohol at ANY TIME while serving alcohol to Festival patrons. 4. Serving prior to and/or after Festival hours of operation is not permitted and free sampling is not permitted. Both of these actions will result in loss of exhibitor privileges 5. With the exception of exhibitor beer bottles, which must be emptied into the plastic sampling cups by the exhibitor, no glassware is allowed anywhere on site under any circumstance. The Festival organizers will provide the official Festival sampling cups. 6. Each exhibitor will receive four (4) Exhibitor badges per day as their credentials for the Festival. If more badges are required, they will be available for purchase. No free admission to the Festival will be granted if the badge is not shown upon entry. There are no exceptions. Any exhibitor attempting to gain entry for themselves or any of their associates, without proper credentials, will lose their exhibitor privileges Each exhibitor will receive four (4) General Admission tickets. 7. Exhibitors may not share exhibitor space without the expressed written consent of Pinnacle Bank Arena. 8. No brewery exhibitor may dispense food at any time without the expressed written consent of Pinnacle Bank Arena. 9. All promotional items to be given away at the Festival must be preapproved by Pinnacle Bank Arena. 10. All exhibitors must abide by all local health, safety, alcohol and fire regulations at their cost. 11. A minimum of no less than two staff members must be present in each Exhibitor s booth at all times. 12. All exhibitors must maintain their booths in a respectable order and all accumulated trash must be bagged for pick-up throughout the event. 13. Exhibitor booths must be fully operational throughout all the posted hours of the Festival. Any Exhibitor caught tearing down or leaving earlier than times indicated on the contract will be assessed a non-negotiable flat fee of $250/hour. 14. Posted load in, set-up and load out times must be adhered to without exception. 15. Lost, stolen or damaged Festival property (chairs, tables, lights, etc...) will be charged back to the exhibitor. 16. All exhibitors receive one (1) parking pass per booth in gate 4. 17. Exhibitors are responsible for all sales tax. 18. All exhibitors must have proper liability insurance in the amount of two million dollars ($2,000,000) for participation in Capital City Beerfest and must name Capital City Beerfest, SMG, Pinnacle Bank Arena, City of Lincoln and Joint Public Agency as additional insured. A SIGNED EXHIBITOR APPLICATION ACKNOWLEDGES THE ABOVE TO BE CONDITIONS OF THE CONTRACT. The registrant by the execution of this document by its authorized representative accepts the terms and conditions as set out and agrees to ensure compliance by its employees, agents or representatives participating in the Festival. The registrant further releases Capital City Beerfest, Pinnacle Bank Arena, SMG, City of Lincoln and Joint Public Agency from any liability arising out of the participation in the Festival and operation of the Exhibitor of the registrant. I certify that all details supplied in this Form and Contract are correct. SATURDAY MAY 2, 2015 6PM-9PM (5PM EARLY ENTRY) PINNACLE BANK ARENA All General Admission tickets are good for unlimited 2 ounce samples of craft beers and include a commemorative tasting glass, access to the hourly Beer Academy sessions featuring brewing industry aficionados presenting on a variety of subjects, including food/beer pairings. There will be live music and a variety of food and merchandise vendors available. You must be 21+ with a valid ID to enter. Designated Driver tickets will be available. No outside food or drink allowed. Tickets will be available at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, ticketmaster.com or charge at 1-800-745-3000.
